Saxa Apartment Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about Saxa Apartment? The moment I walked in, it didn’t feel like a typical hotel at all – and I mean that in the best possible way. It’s got this intimate, almost residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying at a well-traveled friend’s place rather than some corporate chain. The 4-star rating honestly undersells it, because whoever designed this place really understood what modern travelers actually want.
The apartment-style setup is brilliant – I had a proper kitchen where I could actually cook breakfast instead of paying ridiculous room service prices, and the living space felt genuinely livable. Not those cramped hotel rooms where you’re tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. The furnishings strike this perfect balance between stylish and comfortable; you can tell they invested in quality pieces that’ll last, not just stuff that photographs well for their website. And the rating of 9.2 makes total sense once you settle in – it’s those little touches that add up. The WiFi actually works everywhere (shocking, I know), the shower has proper water pressure, and there’s enough storage space that you can unpack without playing Tetris with your belongings.
What really sets this place apart is how they’ve nailed the details that frequent travelers obsess over but nobody talks about. The walls are thick enough that you’re not listening to your neighbors’ late-night Netflix binges, the curtains actually block out light for decent sleep, and – this might sound weird – but the outlets are positioned where you’d actually want to charge your phone. I’ve stayed in plenty of places where you have to choose between charging your device or having it within arm’s reach of the bed. The cleanliness standards are spot-on too; not that sterile, chemical-heavy clean you get at big hotels, but genuinely fresh and well-maintained. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no complicated key card systems that never work on the first try. The staff clearly knows their stuff and treats you like an adult who can figure things out, which I actually prefer to being hovered over constantly. Honestly, for the price point and the experience you get, it’s the kind of place that makes you rethink what you’re actually paying for when you book those flashy chain hotels with fancy lobbies you barely use anyway.

Beautiful apartment close to the center.
Access to apartment was done via Link. No personal encounter.
What could be improved: The cleaning of the apartment could be improved. The cutlery was in the drawer, but some of it was not clean. Same for the plates. There was hair in the bathtub and socks got dirty when you walked on the floor.H from United Kingdom – 29 November 2023 (10/10)
Everything was amazing and beyond expectations.
Beautiful flat at a great location with amenities that you expect at an expensive hotel. Will definitely return to Verona and I hope this flat will be available again then.David from Ireland – 20 November 2023 (10/10)
Picturesque! It felt very homely. Nice furniture and brilliant facilities.
What could be improved: The metal pole in the shower was a little inconvenient for me as I'm quite tall. No problem for my partner though.Rainer from Austria – 24 September 2023 (9/10)
Nice appartment with caring owners and a lot of personal touches, close to the city center (but not in it).
Alex from Italy – 22 September 2023 (9/10)
Great apartment at a great location. Very comfortable and clean. The café across the street is a must. We really enjoyed our stay.
What could be improved: No elevator in the building was a but difficult for my older parents.Jahannan from Croatia – 3 September 2023 (10/10)
Value for money is great. Park in the proximiti on blue line marked parkings and manage your parking with app. It is 1 eur per hour 8am – 8pm. Take a speed train to Milano or Venice… anyway, the apartment is great, clean, stylish and very near the centre.
What could be improved: The streets are quite loud, so keep your windows closed at night with AC on.Octavian from Turkey – 22 October 2022 (10/10)
It is a wonderful apartment with perfect location, just a nice short walk across the river from the main attractions of Verona. The neigbourhood is gorgeuos, right next to Giusti gardens, which i highly recommend to visit. The host was very nice, the check in/ checkout was easy. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenitites, plus so much charm! We had a fantastic stay in the apartment and would highly recommend it!
