Shiny Rooms Verona Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Shiny Rooms Verona, you immediately get the sense that someone put real thought into making this three-star hotel feel welcoming without trying too hard. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that’s refreshing after navigating Verona’s bustling streets — and honestly, the name makes perfect sense once you see how everything gleams. It’s not flashy, but there’s something reassuring about a place that clearly takes pride in keeping things spotless and well-maintained.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about staying in Borgo Roma — you’re not right in the thick of the tourist chaos, which is actually a blessing. The hotel sits on Via Adria, and while it’s about a 15-minute drive to the historic center, you’ve got easy access to public transport that’ll get you to Juliet’s balcony and the Arena without the headache of parking downtown. What really sold me on this spot is that couples seem to gravitate here, and I can see why — there’s something peaceful about having a quiet base while still being connected to everything Verona offers.
The Rooms
The rooms live up to that “shiny” promise, I’ll give them that. Everything feels fresh and contemporary, with clean lines and thoughtful touches that make the space feel bigger than it probably is. The beds are genuinely comfortable — not just hotel-marketing comfortable — and the bathrooms have this crisp, almost minimalist design that works well. You know what I appreciated most? The attention to lighting; there are actually enough outlets where you need them, and the curtains block out light properly when you want to sleep in.
Practical Perks
Let me tell you about the real game-changer here — free parking. If you’ve ever tried to park in Italian cities, you’ll understand why this is huge. No circling blocks looking for a spot, no feeding meters, no stress about where to leave your car while you explore. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay smooth, and they’re the kind of helpful where they’ll actually give you useful local tips rather than just pointing you toward the obvious tourist spots.
Why Guests Love It
This isn’t the kind of place that’ll blow you away with over-the-top amenities, but that’s sort of the point. Shiny Rooms Verona delivers exactly what it promises — a clean, comfortable, well-run hotel that makes exploring Verona easier rather than more complicated. The combination of that peaceful Borgo Roma location, genuinely helpful service, and the blessing of free parking creates this sweet spot where you feel like you’re getting more value than you paid for. It’s particularly perfect if you’re planning a romantic getaway and want somewhere that feels like a proper retreat at the end of busy sightseeing days.
Savvy travelers reserve a hotel in Verona before summer brings open-air opera evenings, Lake Garda day trips, and warm nights in the piazzas.

– very nice owner
What could be improved: – not ideal for 3 people as the third bed is a sofa/chair bed and is not comfortable to sleep onZvoncica from Croatia – 26 August 2024 (8/10)
The room was very comfortable, and well positioned within the city!
What could be improved: The door wouldn't open at 2 in the morning and it's "no human contact" kind of place!
There are 3 doors to open with application, the last one being the door to the apartment.
Firstly, there is always the worry that my battery will run out. Secondly, there's always the unexpected and no one to call when that happens.
We were at the Arena di Verona seeing an opera, and we knew we will come to the apartment very late.
We came at 2, very happy with the whole evening, and after passing 2 doors with application, the 3rd wouldn't open!
The door handle was loose and we couldn't get into the flat. It kept rotating 360°….. At 2 in the morning!
The owner was obviously not online to read booking messages, but he was also NOT answering repeating mobile calls, which would be expected if you are in charge of the apartment…..
If you are not a fan of "no human contact" when renting is concerned, stay away.Cindy from Latvia – 13 August 2024 (9/10)
Very clean, super good value for money, Kitchen, washing machine, easy communication with host. Perfect resting spot for people travelling by car wanting to see Verona.
What could be improved: Hard to find the entrance at first, slightly thin walls.Veronika from Czech Republic – 9 August 2024 (9/10)
