You know what honestly surprised me about Stadia Suite? I went in expecting another generic four-star place, but this hotel actually has character – and I mean that in the best way possible. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look at me” like so many places do these days. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful (not the rehearsed kind of helpful), and I could tell they actually knew their stuff when I asked about local restaurants.

The suites themselves are what really sold me on this place. I mean, you get proper living space that doesn’t feel like an afterthought – the kind where you can actually spread out your stuff without tripping over the coffee table every five minutes. The beds are seriously comfortable, and I’m someone who’s pretty picky about that sort of thing. What I really appreciated was the attention to details that actually matter: good lighting for reading, enough outlets where you need them, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure is fantastic. You’d be amazed how many hotels mess that up. The rooms stay pretty quiet too, even on weekends when things get busier downstairs.

Honestly, the 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s one of those places that just gets the fundamentals right without trying to be flashy about it. The housekeeping is thorough (they actually vacuum properly, not just the middle of the room), and room service comes up hot and on time. I’ve stayed at plenty of four-star places that charge more and deliver less, so this felt like finding a bit of a hidden gem. The only minor thing – and I’m being really nitpicky here – is that the elevators can be a bit slow during peak check-in times, but that’s hardly a dealbreaker. If you’re looking for a place that’ll take care of you without the pretentious attitude, Stadia Suite delivers on that promise.

  The host Anna was incredibly nice y habla espanol. She was at the property within 15 mins to help us get in and then soent another 20 minutes helping us with all of our tourist questions. She was very sweet.
  
  What could be improved: Parking is okay on the street but you might have to park a block away. No big deal but for those that can't do that you should know.

  The host, Anna. There was nothing she wouldn’t do to look after you. My medication was stolen before getting there so she took me to her pharmacist to replace it. Showed us which were good restaurants and even organised a taxi for us when we vacated. Large apartment with large comfortable bedrooms. Highly recommend.

  I have rated this place highly because it deserves it. Anna was helpful from the outset – took us through everything we needed to know about the apartment and gave us lots of advice about Verona and surrounds. It is a modern, clean and comfortable place. We walked everywhere but there is a bus around corner.
