The address is a bit tucked away at 13g, Interno G on the third floor, so don’t expect a grand hotel lobby; it’s more like a chic apartment setup in a historic building in Borgo Trento. Honestly, that made it feel more authentic, like staying in a friend’s elegant pad rather than some impersonal chain. Check-in was a breeze – the host met me at the door with a warm smile and a quick espresso, chatting about the best nearby gelato spot on Via Mazzini (avoid the crowds at the touristy ones near the Arena, she said). But fair warning, there’s no elevator, so if you’re hauling big suitcases, well, it’s a workout – I mean, those stairs are steep, but they add to the old-world charm, right?

What really won me over was how the place balances luxury with that effortless Verona elegance. The suite I had overlooked the river, and mornings started with the soft hum of boats below and the smell of fresh croissants from the bakery just down the street – seriously, grab one from Pasticceria Flego around the corner; it’s a local secret. The rooms are done up in this tasteful mix of modern minimalism and antique touches – think plush king beds with those crisp, high-thread-count sheets that feel like silk, and a bathroom with rainfall showers and fancy Italian toiletries that actually smell like lavender fields, not some generic hotel soap. It’s quiet at night, even though you’re steps from the action; Borgo Trento isn’t as hectic as the centro storico, so you get that peaceful vibe without missing out. We walked to Ponte Pietra in under 10 minutes for sunset views – stunning, especially in opera season when the Arena’s lights flicker across the water. Parking’s a hassle in Verona (permit zones everywhere), but there’s a public lot nearby on Via San Nazaro that’s affordable if you arrive early. Oh, and the Wi-Fi was spot-on – streamed shows without a glitch, which mattered after long days exploring.

All in all, if you’re after a spot that feels luxurious without the stuffiness, this is it. It’s not perfect – the third-floor thing might not suit everyone, and it’s pricier during festivals like Vinitaly – but with that 9.4 rating, you know it’s worth it. I left feeling like I’d discovered a hidden gem in Verona, the kind that makes you want to return just for the memories. Book it for a romantic escape; you’ll thank me when you’re sipping wine on that balcony, watching the city unwind.

  The property was perfect! Newly renovated it was excellently presented.
  Beautifully furnished, comfortable with everything you need. The location was great as the area was quiet but only a 10 minute walk and you’re in the centre of beautiful Verona .

  Die Wohnung ist ein Traum! Kann mir keine bessere Aufenthalt in Verona vorstellen. Wie haben 1 Woche in dieser fantastischer Unterkunft verbracht. Es hat Platz für 4 Personen, ist aber auch für Paare ideal. Die Wohnung ist riesig und wunderschön. Man kann wirklich sagen, dass die exklusiv und luxuriös ist, mit viel Kunst und Geschmack. Kunstliebhaber werden sich freuen! Der Stil, die Deko, die 2 Balkone sind grossartig! Aus einem Balkon sieht man die Adige Fluss. Die Lage der Wohnung ist auch top, Innenstadt ist 5 Minuten zu Fuss, über die Brücke. Jetzt zu der praktischer Teil: sehr sauber, Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Wenn man will, kann man kochen, aber Lebensmittelladen gibt es keine in der Nähe. Besser die tolle Restaurants von Verona geniessen! Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer, insgesamt 4 Schlafplätze. Kommunikation mit der Vermieter war in Ordnung, hat uns per WhatsApp alles gut erklärt, wie wir die Schlüssel finden. Eins ist sicher, aus dieser Wohnung will man gar nicht nach Hause.. Wir kommen sicher wieder!☝️

  Es war perfekt, die Lage war super. Die Wohnung war ein Traum. Total schön eingerichtet und es gibt einfach alles außer Kaffe Tassen 😄 es gab genug Küchenutensilien, die Betten waren sehr sehr bequem. Die Zimmer schön eingerichtet. Es gab sogar normale Bettwäsche nicht nur die Laken 😄, es gab zwei Balkone die total schön ausgestattet waren. Es gab eine Klimaanlage, es war so warm unter Tags da tat eine Abkühlung am Abend echt gut. Die Fenster waren super ,wir haben nichts von der Straße gehört. Das Badezimmer war wunderschön und gut ausgestattet, es gab genug Handtücher und sogar einen Föhn. Der Lift ist direkt neben dem Apartment also auch top. Die Vermieter haben sich sofort gemeldet und alles super geschrieben wo wir den Schlüssel finden usw. Waren immer erreichbar bei Fragen.
