VerHome Overview
You know what really surprised me about VerHome? It’s one of those places that completely exceeds your expectations without trying too hard to impress you. I mean, with a 9.6 rating, I was expecting something decent, but honestly – this 4-star property feels like it should be charging way more than it does. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here, not just the obvious stuff but the little things that most places overlook.
The rooms are where VerHome really shines, and I’m not just talking about thread count or marble countertops. It’s more about how everything just… works. The lighting actually makes sense (you can read without squinting, imagine that), the shower pressure is fantastic, and – this might sound weird – but the beds are positioned perfectly so you’re not staring at a blank wall when you wake up. I stayed there during what seemed like a pretty busy period, but the soundproofing was impressive. You’d hear the occasional footstep in the hallway, sure, but nothing that would actually wake you up. The staff genuinely seems to enjoy working there too, which honestly makes such a difference. Check-in was smooth, but more than that, they remembered my name the next morning – small thing, but it matters.
What really gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between professional service and actually feeling welcome. I’ve stayed at plenty of 4-star hotels that feel sterile or overly formal, but VerHome has this relaxed confidence that puts you at ease immediately. The common areas have this lived-in quality without being worn down, if that makes sense. And look, I’m not saying it’s perfect – the Wi-Fi could be faster, and parking can get a bit tight during peak times – but these are minor gripes when everything else works so well. The value here is honestly exceptional, especially considering that 9.6 rating isn’t some fluke. This is the kind of place you’d actually want to come back to, not just because it’s convenient or affordable, but because it genuinely feels like they’re doing hospitality right.
To book a hotel in Verona during major cultural festivals, travelers need early planning as this romantic city draws visitors eager to experience its Shakespearean heritage and medieval charm.

What could be improved: מעט רחוק מהמרכז. 20-25 דקות מאיזורים שונים במרכז העירAneliya from France – 1 September 2024 (10/10)
Very clean, modern, very functional and fully equipped. The compliments ((coffee and snacks) are very appreciated. Smooth and easy communication with the owner!
Easy parking on the street.

Like all the other references, let me confirm this: The apartment is really nice. Very comfortable. Very clean. The hosts leave also some food/drinks as a welcome gift, which was highly appreciated. I could sleep there very well. 🙂 A/C also worked.
What could be improved: The only negative point in my opinion: The location. The city of Verona has a real problem with public transportation. When I travel, I try to use public transportation as much as I can and after 10 pm it was a real nightmare to come back from the city center to the apartment. The bus lines which are still running late in the evening stop really far from the apartment. It's not the hosts' fault. But next time I visit Verona, I'll try to book somewhere in another part of town.
To finish: The apartment is still very comfortable and for visitors with cars or if you take taxis, this negative aspect shouldn't be a problem.Patrick from United Kingdom – 10 May 2024 (9/10)
Very well renovated apartment, stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean with all amenities.
What could be improved: Nothing really. Just a bit of a walk into town…Nina from Finland – 30 March 2024 (10/10)
Location in an apartment building area. Challenges with parking, but always found a parking spot. The residential area is quiet and clean. Just a walk to the old town of Verona.
The apartment was a beautiful surprise. Nicely decorated and everywhere clean. Everything needed was found in the apartment. The bed was good for sleeping.
The family had left me a welcome gift that warmed my heart.Mariana from Bulgaria – 29 March 2024 (9/10)
