I mean, you’re literally steps away from Piazza delle Erbe — that gorgeous medieval square where locals still buy fresh produce and tourists snap endless photos of the frescoed buildings. This four-star property sits right in the thick of Verona’s historical heart, and you’ll feel it the moment you arrive. The building itself has that authentic Italian charm without trying too hard, which I actually appreciate.

The Perfect Location

Here’s what I love about staying here — you can roll out of bed and be at Juliet’s balcony in about three minutes (though honestly, it’s a bit overrated). More importantly, you’re surrounded by some of the city’s best wine bars and trattorias that locals actually frequent. The Adige River is just a short stroll away, and if you’re into Roman history, the Arena di Verona is practically around the corner. Couples seem to get this location thing — they rate it nearly perfect, and I can see why. There’s something romantic about wandering these cobblestone streets at night when the day-trippers have gone home.

The Room Experience

The rooms here strike a nice balance between modern comfort and historical character. You know what I noticed? They’ve managed to keep some of the building’s original features without making you feel like you’re sleeping in a museum. The room I stayed in had decent space (not huge, but this is a medieval city center after all), and the bathroom was updated with good water pressure — something you can’t always count on in these old Italian buildings. The windows open onto either the piazza or the narrow streets, and honestly, both have their charm depending on whether you want the energy or the quiet.

Exploring the Neighborhood

What makes this spot special is how it connects you to authentic Verona life. In the morning, you’ll hear vendors setting up in the piazza — it’s been a market square for over 900 years, which is pretty wild when you think about it. There’s a great little café just downstairs where locals grab their morning espresso, and the evening aperitivo scene around here is fantastic. You’re also walking distance to some excellent restaurants tucked away in side streets that most tourists never find. The whole area feels alive but not overwhelmingly touristy, if that makes sense.

People keep coming back here because it delivers on the promise of being in the real heart of Verona without the tourist trap feeling. The staff knows the neighborhood well and can point you toward hidden gems, and the location score speaks for itself — 9.9 is basically unheard of. You’re paying for prime real estate, sure, but when you can walk to everything worth seeing and still feel like you’re experiencing authentic Italian city life, it’s worth it. Plus, there’s something satisfying about staying somewhere that couples rate so highly for romance — the setting just works.

  I love that it's so close to almost everywhere you needed to see and explore.
  
  What could be improved: Just had a confusion with the exact location of the apartment. The information needed should have been sent a day before our stay. Other than that our stay was great!

  Host was communicative. We could drop our bags/check in early. Very clean and tastefully furnished. Location very good – being right in the town centre meant easy access to everything and we could return for rest breaks easily.
  
  What could be improved: As others have mentioned, access to the shower and loft area may be tricky for those with mobility issues as they are a potential falls hazard. The wooden floor makes the split levels blend in visually. Exercise caution!

  Arrived to a complimentary pack of milk, juice, cereal and more which was very welcomed as we arrived after the shops had closed.
  Great location. Really clean. Good bed and linens.
  
  What could be improved: We didn’t realise the water wasn’t on so woke to cold water. Never was very warm water so uncomfortable shower particularly to wash a females hair.
  Wouldn’t have wanted to be too much older to get in and out of the shower. Other guests had to walk through my bedroom to get to the bathroom. Didn’t matter for us as with our daughter but might for others.

  The location of the apartment is amazing, it's right in the city center next to the most touristy square of the city. On and around the square you'll find amazing dining options, a market place and some great sights to see.
  Also, the owner can provide many extra's like a wine tasting or a surprise package for when you arrive.
  Lastly, the owner is very helpful, they helped us find a parking spot, which was a challenge for us since we're not from Italy.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing I regret is not staying longer.

  The location of this loft is amazing! You can walk in the heart of Verona just by going downstairs.
  The apartment was clean and a basic breakfast was provided.
  The communication was great!
  The apartment is also pet friendly if you’re travelling with your pet.
  
  What could be improved: This was not a huge problem for us, but as we already read in other comments, the bathroom is in the master bedroom. So, if wasn’t that easy. But for a short stay was ok.
  If you’re travelling with an elderly person, the bathtub is not suitable for elderly people.

  The location in Verona is very good. One step out from the door and your're in the city. The apartment had all we needed for our time in Verona. Thank you for the breakfast in kitchen, the smooth check-in and communication the the host was easy and nice. We will stay here next time in Verona.
