The bed’s comfortable too, though if you’re tall you might find it a bit short – it’s clearly designed for European proportions.

Location-wise, you’re in a residential area that feels authentically Italian without being touristy, which I loved. It’s quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep well (the windows do their job blocking street noise), but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere either. There’s a little grocery store about a five-minute walk away where the owner speaks zero English but somehow we managed to communicate just fine – that kind of local experience you can’t get staying in the hotel district. The walk to the main tourist spots takes maybe fifteen to twenty minutes, which sounds like a lot until you realize you’re getting to see how real Veronese people live their daily lives. Plus, honestly, after spending hours wandering around Juliet’s balcony and the arena with crowds of tourists, coming back to this peaceful neighborhood felt like a genuine retreat. The rating of 9.6 makes perfect sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises with a level of care and attention that’s become pretty rare these days.

  Communication with owner was excellent. Everything was new. Everything was decorated so nice that made you feel at home and not like a hotel. This place is walking distance to main attractions and train station.
