You’re literally surrounded by centuries-old streets that lead to Juliet’s balcony, the Arena, and Piazza delle Erbe, all within a few minutes’ walk. What I love is that you’re not stuck in some touristy bubble; there are local cafés and wine bars tucked into these narrow alleys that you’d never find if you were staying outside the center. Couples especially seem to get this — they’ve rated the location 9.1 for romantic trips, and honestly, I get it.

The Room Experience

The room itself reflects that “design” part of the hotel’s name without being pretentious about it. Clean lines, thoughtful touches, and — this matters more than you’d think — genuinely comfortable beds. I’m usually pretty skeptical when places boast about their bedding, but guests consistently rave about the sleep quality here, and after spending a few nights, I understand why. The rooms aren’t huge (this is a historical building in Italy’s city center, after all), but they’re smartly laid out and feel more spacious than they actually are.

Breakfast here is one of those pleasant surprises that sets the tone for your entire day. They’ve got the continental basics covered, but what impressed me was the attention to dietary needs — there are solid gluten-free options that don’t feel like an afterthought. The buffet setup works well, and you know what? Sometimes it’s nice to fuel up properly before wandering those cobblestone streets for hours. Plus, the breakfast area has this relaxed vibe where you can actually plan your day without feeling rushed.

  Beautiful apartment in a historic building, yet modern facilities. Tasteful interior. Staffed reception at nearby hotel, which was very friendly and helpful too.
  
  What could be improved: Bedroom faces street and has no shutters or blinds (only thin curtains). Was quite bright at night. Only real downside for us.

  Good location, easy to pick up the keys at the hotel at the end of the street, staff were helpful explaining where you can and cannot park.

  Excellent location in a less crowded part of the city center, still within short walking distance to all attractions. You have to check-in in a hotel nearby. Everyone at check-in was very kind and helpful, even managed us a free street parking nearby. Comfortable beds, clean room and bedroom. Quality linen and towels. Very effective air conditioning. Coffee, tea, cold water and some packed snacks are at your disposal in the room.
  
  What could be improved: Some more options to hang your clothes, hats, etc would greatly improve the comfort of the room.

  The room was far larger than i expected, with a couch as well as a dining table. A bonus 'breakfast' basket was provided. Exceptionally clean.
  
  What could be improved: The location was about 10 minute walk to the nearest tourist site, which was a bit of a grind in the summer heat.

  Easy check in and check out. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Great set of towels with complimentary water and snacks. Bathroom was also all new, spacious and great shower. Amazing place and close enough from all main sights.
  
  What could be improved: Light in the bedroom was difficult to find the right bright setting

  The location is in the city center. It was very clean and like new. Big rooms, big and comfortable beds. I think the beds were 2x2m . Water, toast bread, Nutella, Cookies, jam, honey, tea and coffee maker were in the rooms.
  The staff was very nice and answered all our questions.
  The apartment does not have its own parking, but with the ticket received you can park for free in the area without paying if you find a free space. We found. If not, there is a parking lot 5 minutes from the apartments where you pay 10 euros for 24 hours.
