I pulled up to the Verona Expo Suite after weaving through the traffic on the A4 highway – you know, that stretch coming from Milan where everyone’s rushing to beat the evening rush. It’s tucked away on Via Brigata Cuneo, in that quieter part of Verona’s southern edge, right near the Fiera expo center. Honestly, if you’re here for a trade show or conference, this spot’s a godsend; I mean, it’s literally a five-minute walk to the fairgrounds, which saved me from the headache of circling for parking during the busy Vinitaly season in spring. The building itself is modern-ish, nothing flashy, but the check-in was a breeze – the front desk guy, Marco I think his name was, chatted about local spots while handing over the keycard, even tipped me off about a great pizzeria on nearby Via Golosine that’s way better (and cheaper) than the tourist traps downtown.

Stepping into the suite, well, it felt more like a comfy apartment than your standard hotel room – spacious living area with a little kitchenette that came in handy for brewing my own espresso in the mornings, avoiding that weak hotel coffee you sometimes get. The bed was firm but plush, sheets crisp and smelling faintly of lavender detergent, which was a nice touch after a day exploring. I had a view out over some residential streets toward the Adige River – not exactly postcard-perfect like from the historic center, but peaceful, especially at night when the traffic dies down. Oh, and speaking of noise, it’s not bad at all; there’s a bit of hum from the nearby roads during rush hour, but the double-glazed windows keep it muffled – way better than some places I’ve stayed closer to the Arena where the crowds keep you up. The bathroom’s got that Italian marble vibe, with a rain shower that actually has decent pressure, though the toiletries were pretty basic (bring your own if you’re picky). Breakfast downstairs is buffet-style – fresh croissants, prosciutto, and those tiny yogurts – nothing gourmet, but solid fuel before hopping on the bus to Piazza Bra, which is about a 15-minute ride from the stop just down the street on Via Scuderlando.

All in all, for a 4-star spot with a 7.9 rating, it lives up to the hype without overpromising. It’s not smack in the romantic heart of Verona – you’ll need a car or public transport to hit Juliet’s balcony or catch an opera at the Arena – but that’s sort of the charm if you’re after value and a break from the tourist bustle. I stayed during a quieter fall week, and it felt like a smart base for mixing business with a bit of sightseeing; parking’s easy in their underground garage (though it costs extra, fair warning). If you’re traveling solo or with a partner who’s cool with a short commute, I’d say go for it – just pack light for those expo halls, and maybe grab a gelato at that corner shop on Via Tombetta on your way back. You won’t regret the authenticity over some pricier downtown chain.

  A localização é ótima. Local muito camo e agradável. Ar condicionado em todas as divisões foi muito bom porque estava muito calor. O terraço é ótimo para fazer as refeições .
  
  What could be improved: Na cozinha há pouco utensílios para fazer as refeições. Tem tudo à conta para o numero de hospedes. Tem falta de algumas coisas, como travessas para colocar a comida e só tem uma panela para fazer a comida.
