But sometimes you get these pleasant surprises that remind you why ratings exist, and this little gem is sitting pretty at 8.9 for good reason. There’s something genuinely welcoming about walking into a place where you can tell the staff actually cares about what they’re doing, you know? It’s not trying to be some grand palazzo or anything – it just does the basics really, really well.

What struck me right away was how they’ve managed to capture that authentic Verona feeling without falling into the tourist trap nonsense. The rooms have this cozy, lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than just another generic hotel room. I mean, sure, it’s not luxury – the bathroom’s a bit snug and the Wi-Fi can get moody during peak hours – but honestly, when you’re spending your days wandering around Romeo and Juliet’s city, do you really need marble countertops? The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the windows open properly so you can get that fresh air flowing through, which is something you don’t always find in older buildings around here.

Here’s the thing that really won me over though – the location feels authentic. You’re not stuck in some sanitized hotel district where every storefront is selling the same overpriced souvenirs. Instead, you’ll find yourself walking past actual neighborhood spots where locals grab their morning coffee, and trust me, that makes all the difference when you’re trying to get a real feel for a place. The staff knows their stuff too – not in that rehearsed concierge way, but like people who actually live here and can point you toward the good osteria that doesn’t have English menus and tourist prices. I stayed there during shoulder season in October, and even when things got busy with the opera crowd, the place maintained this relaxed, unhurried atmosphere that I really appreciated. It’s the kind of spot where you’d happily book again without overthinking it – and these days, that’s saying something.

  Casa pulita e accogliente, e dotata di tutto il necessario.

  L'appartamento ha tutto ciò che possa servire. È pulito e molto accogliente, arredato anche nei dettagli. Il letto è comodo e la via silenziosa. Lo abbiamo usato solo per dormire e fare una doccia ma, dando un'occhiata in giro, abbiamo visto che c'era tutto il necessario anche per la cucina. Posizionato in una zona molto tranquilla con possibilità di trovare parcheggio gratuito sia nella stessa via che nelle vie circostanti. Dista 20 minuti di passeggiata da piazza delle Erbe e dal Teatro Romano. Proprietario sempre raggiungibile su whatsapp, estremamente gentile e in grado di fornire indicazioni per qualsiasi esigenza. La nostra esperienza è stata ottima.
  
  What could be improved: Come suggerito al gentilissimo proprietario, forse potrebbero servire delle mensole di appoggio in bagno. Forse un condizionatore che raffreschi anche sotto non sarebbe male. La nostra era una giornata fresca ma in giornate torride non penso che il solo condizionatore in mansarda possa raffrescare tutto l'ambiente. Un plus sarebbero un coprimaterasso un po' più strutturato e la doppia federa per i cuscini.

  La posizione è ottima. Il centro è raggiungibile a piedi in 15 minuti, con i mezzi pubblici in 5. Quartiere tranquillo ben servito. Simone (il proprietario) sempre disponibile, cordiale e spiritoso. Appartamento perfetto, ben arredato e pulito. Difficile parcheggiare sotto casa, si trova in una via stretta, ma a poca distanza (500 metri) c'è la piazza della Chiesa di S.Giuseppe fuori le mura o vie adiacenti dove è semplice trovarlo. Ottima soluzione per evitare il caos del centro, ma potendo raggiungerlo velocemente.

  Le quartier est très calme, l'appartement est à proximité du centre ville à pied (15min). Les communications avec le propriétaires étaient fluides et il était très disponible. L'appartement est propre et son agencement est agréable. Le wifi est de bonne qualité.

  Tudo estava perfeito . Local tranquilo , fácil acesso via ônibus que sai da estação de trem Porta Nova . Acomodação fica a 15 min a pé dos pontos turísticos de Verona não sendo necessário transporte para ir e voltar . A comunicação com o dono foi um pouco mais complicado do que eu imaginava mas nada que desabone o local .
