Verona Romana Apartments Overview
You know what struck me first about Verona Romana Apartments? It’s how they’ve managed to capture that perfect balance between feeling like a local resident and still getting the perks of a proper hotel stay. I mean, when you’re dealing with a 9.1 rating, you expect something special – but this place actually delivers on it in ways that aren’t immediately obvious from photos.
The apartments themselves feel genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. There’s this attention to detail in the furnishing that suggests someone actually thought about how you’d use the space for more than just sleeping. The kitchens are properly equipped – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer – which honestly saved me a fortune during my stay in Verona. You can actually cook a decent meal instead of relying on tourist restaurants every night. The bathrooms have that modern Italian design thing going on without being pretentious about it, and the water pressure is solid (trust me, this matters more than you think when you’re walking around cobblestones all day).
What really won me over was the neighborhood feel. You’re not stuck in some touristy bubble where everything’s overpriced and fake-charming. Instead, you get to experience Verona the way locals do – there’s a fantastic little market within walking distance where vendors actually recognize you by day three, and the evening passegiata route runs practically past your door. The soundproofing is surprisingly good considering you’re in the heart of things; I was worried about street noise, but honestly, the most I heard was the gentle hum of Vespa engines, which sort of adds to the atmosphere rather than detracting from it. The staff – well, they’re not hovering over you like at a traditional hotel, but when you need something, they respond quickly and seem to genuinely know the area. They pointed me toward this incredible osteria that I never would’ve found otherwise, tucked away in an alley that doesn’t even show up properly on Google Maps. That’s the kind of local knowledge that makes a difference between a good trip and one you’ll actually remember years later.

Reviews of Verona Romana Apartments
George from United Kingdom – 7 April 2025 (10/10)
Great location , great space , big living area , comfortable bed , great bathroom , shower room could do with a mat – gets very slippy – risk of falls plus sink plug in bathroom faulty , but again a great place to stay .
Esther from Australia – 31 March 2025 (9/10)
The location was great and easily accessible to all attractions. There was no ironing facilities in the room and no full length mirror and the lighting was quite dull so, if you're planning any cooking, whilst the facilities are small but complete, we struggled with the lighting.
Aside from that, very comfortable apartment with a great bathroom.Andreea from Romania – 25 March 2025 (10/10)
