Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Verona Suites, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But sometimes you get those pleasant surprises that remind you why ratings exist for a reason, and this little gem absolutely deserves that 9.4 score it’s pulling.

The suites themselves are what really caught me off guard. I mean, you’re not getting luxury finishes or anything fancy, but there’s this thoughtful attention to space that makes all the difference. The living areas actually feel separate from the sleeping quarters (revolutionary concept, right?), and honestly, after staying in too many cramped hotel rooms where you’re practically sleeping on top of your suitcase, having room to spread out was such a relief. The kitchenettes are surprisingly functional too – not just those sad mini-fridges with a coffee maker thrown in as an afterthought. You can actually make a proper breakfast or heat up leftovers without feeling like you’re performing kitchen surgery in a shoebox.

What I really appreciated was how quiet everything stayed, even during what seemed like peak season when I was there. The staff – and this might sound like generic praise but I’m being serious here – actually seemed to know what they were doing. Check-in was smooth, they had solid recommendations for nearby spots (not just the touristy obvious ones), and when I had a minor issue with the air conditioning, someone was up to fix it within twenty minutes. You know what though? The location is probably the biggest win here. You’re tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant street noise or crowds of tourists stumbling past your window at all hours, but you can still walk to pretty much everything worth seeing without needing to plan your life around transportation schedules. I found myself just wandering out for coffee in the morning or grabbing dinner without that whole mental calculation of “is this worth the taxi fare back.” Plus, there’s actually decent parking nearby if you’re driving – not something you can take for granted in a lot of places like this. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where locals are going about their business, which I always prefer over those sterile hotel districts where everything shuts down after 9 PM. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than just passing through a tourist bubble.

  The apartment was amazing! We travel a lot, with three kids. We never found an apartment so clean, comfortable, quiet, functional, with brand new furnitures and kitchen amenities.
  The floor heating system was really appreciated during the cold days we spent in Verona.

  What could be improved: AC is hot . Because it is controlled by the owner. The hot water is limited. You can't use AC with a window open . No washing machine. And another bad thing.

  Die Wohnung war sehr schön und die Lage war super wir sollten nur ein Bus bis zum Zentrum nehmen und die Ticket haben auch nicht viel gekostet. War super. Die Eintritt in die Wohnung war durch ein Pin, das war sehr practisch, weil wir hatten kein Angst dass wir den Schlüssel vergessen würden.

  The apartment was clean, and it had everything we needed.
  The host was great, we had some car issues caused by hail, and she helped us with everything she could.
  The place is located in a quiet area and there is a pizza place nearby that has good pizza.
  Parking is available on the street.

  Fantastic host who spent the time to walk us around the apartment and show us everything. Very responsive with any questions we had. Very clean tidy and spacious and the place had A/C in every room which was fantastic given that it was 38C outside. That was a huge plus for us travelling with children.
  
  What could be improved: Honestly not much to complain about other than it's not within walking distance from Verona center. You need to take a car or taxi to get into the center of town which was fine for us as we had a car.
