Verona Suites and Rooms Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Verona Suites and Rooms, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in unassuming packages, and this little gem absolutely knocked my socks off. That 9.1 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – it’s actually earned, which is pretty rare these days if we’re being real about it.

What struck me right away was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about getting things right. I mean, check-in was smooth (no weird hidden fees or awkward upselling), and they actually remembered my name the next morning – not in that forced, corporate way, but like they were actually paying attention. The rooms themselves are clean and thoughtfully laid out, nothing fancy but everything works properly. The beds are legitimately comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and honestly, the shower pressure was better than some four-star places I’ve stayed at. There’s something to be said for a place that focuses on the basics and executes them well rather than trying to impress you with gimmicky amenities that half-work.

Here’s the thing about staying in Verona – location matters more than you might think, and these folks have figured that out. You’re close enough to the action that you can actually walk places without needing to plan your whole day around transportation, but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can get a decent night’s sleep. I noticed they keep things pretty quiet after 10 PM, which was perfect for me since I’m one of those people who gets cranky without proper rest. The neighborhood has that authentic Italian feel – you know, real people going about their lives, not just tour groups and souvenir shops. There’s a little café around the corner where locals actually grab their morning coffee (the kind of place where pointing at pastries works just fine if your Italian is as terrible as mine). What really won me over was how the place feels more like staying at a well-run guesthouse than a sterile hotel chain. The common areas have character without being cluttered, and there’s this relaxed vibe that makes you want to linger over breakfast instead of rushing out to tick boxes on your itinerary.

Reviews of Verona Suites and Rooms

  • Tiberiu from United Kingdom – 11 March 2025 (10/10)

Everything perfect 5⭐️, position, cleanliness, host communication .
Perfect location, 10 minutes walk distance to the Verona station with great airport connections, Venice trains, Garda lake and other destinations.
10 minutes walk distance to Verona centre.
Very professional , helpful and friendly staff, perfect communication for check in and easy access. Our room was spotless, small but more than enough and comfortable for two people . I will mention the bed and mattress, extremely comfortable , on my trips I found only in Amsterdam and Prague and many 5⭐️hotels in UK or Europe are less comfortable and clean than Verona Suites & Rooms, I couldn't recommend enough.
Our host Elena has been every day in contact with us and providing informations , especially the fantastic patisserie around the corner with everything fresh and to be honest, spectacular, shame we stayed only for the weekend.

What could be improved: Nothing negative, 5⭐️

  • Vladislav from Bulgaria – 20 February 2025 (10/10)

    Roomy, clean, nice design, functional

  • Conti from United Kingdom – 4 February 2025 (9/10)

Location close to the train station and not far from centre. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Big bathroom with walk-in shower. Coffee machine and complimentary pods available. The electronic entry to building and room was fantastic.

What could be improved: Nothing but could do with providing perhaps a couple of plates and cutlery, and a variety of coffee/tea etc pods.

  • Snorre from Lithuania – 24 October 2024 (10/10)

Great location, extremely practical for us with a car, because it had easy access from the highway, but it was also a 15-20 minute walk from the old town. The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was ample room for storage, there were extra towels, everything seemed very well thought out.

  • Andrew from United Kingdom – 7 October 2024 (10/10)

Excellent location ,spotlessly clean, very secure with superb facilities

  • Paul from United Kingdom – 3 October 2024 (9/10)

Short walk from the station in a nice old villa. Goodnight bed, choice of two different pillows.

What could be improved: Quite difficult to use the website for identification where you have to fill out the form and send copies of passport including a selfie. The building itself is like Fort Knox with key pads and electric locks for every door. I wonder what happens if there is a power cut?

  • Jaroslav from Czech Republic – 28 September 2024 (10/10)

comfortable, clean, quiet. a short distance from the center. possibility of renting a private garage

  • James from United States – 22 September 2024 (9/10)

    Close to railway station.

  • Stuart from United Kingdom – 13 September 2024 (9/10)

This place was absolutely fantastic, really wasn't sure what to expect but it just blew us away. It was a little difficult initially to locate and enter but that was probably us as we had a long journey and were soaking wet. But wow, the flat was really well kitted out, very modern and was just perfect for our needs. Nice seating/kitchen area, with fridge freezer, coffee machine, table and 4 chairs. Bedroom was really nice and comfortable, with great storage and comfy bed. The bathroom was very well laid out was a spacious affair and very modern (the shower head needs replacing though). WIFI was pretty poor though so bear that in mind if you like streaming etc. doesn't really reach the bedroom area. One other thing is that the external windows all have electric outer blinds which really keep out the noise and light for a superb sleep. Good aircon and it kept us cool. Also its a fairly short walk from the train station, and into the town centre, just around the corner from the Porta Palio. Overall a really nice place and definitely worth booking if your in Verona for a few days.

What could be improved: No restaurants close by, and no shops/supermarkets. Not a major issue but if you arrive late then their isnt anything close. Shower head needs replacing/Poor Wifi.

  • Cristina_a from Romania – 25 June 2024 (10/10)

We actually received an apartment because there was a problem with our room.
And the apartment was absolutely perfect.
Very close to the train station and close to a lot of busses towards the city center. It's walkable distance anyway, about 30mins.
