I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Verona Sweet Rooms – Affitti Brevi Italia, I thought it sounded a bit corporate, you know? Like one of those generic apartment rental chains. But honestly, I was completely wrong about that first impression. This little gem turned out to be one of those places that just gets everything right without making a big fuss about it.

The thing that struck me immediately was how they’ve managed to capture that authentic Verona charm without falling into the touristy trap of overdoing the Romeo and Juliet theme (thank god). I mean, you’re still in the city of star-crossed lovers, but these rooms feel like actual homes where real people live, not some theatrical set piece. The spaces have this lovely lived-in quality – comfortable furniture that’s clearly been chosen for actual comfort, not just Instagram photos. And can we talk about how refreshing it is to find a 3-star place that doesn’t try to pretend it’s something it’s not? The 9.4 rating makes perfect sense once you settle in because everything just works the way it should.

What really won me over was the attention to those little details that most places completely overlook. The lighting is actually good enough to read by (revolutionary concept, I know), and there’s proper counter space in the kitchenette areas – not just some token mini-fridge shoved in a corner. You can tell whoever runs this place has actually stayed in vacation rentals themselves and thought, “What would I actually want here?” The neighborhood feels genuinely Italian rather than tourist-sanitized, which means you’ll hear real life happening around you – kids playing, neighbors chatting, the occasional Vespa puttering by. It’s not silent, but it’s not chaotic either, just… alive.

I particularly loved how close everything felt without being right in the thick of the crowds. You’re within walking distance of all the major sights, but when you come home in the evening, you’re not fighting through selfie sticks to get to your front door. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward “where do I go and who do I call” dance that vacation rentals sometimes put you through. Actually, the whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s place than dealing with a rental company, which I think is exactly what they’re going for with the “Sweet Rooms” concept.

  Very clean accomodation, in a nice neighboorhood. Clear instructions on how to access and good assistance as required. Bed is very comfortable and the toilet spacious and well equipped. Also, common kitchenette is available

  Very chic and modern look of the rooms, with comfy sofa bed and everything you need to feel like home. From here we could reach the city center very easy on a 10-12 minutes walk.

  Modern and clean rooms. Remote location, away from the crowds. Nice restaurants and cafes nearby.

  The best possible place to stay if visiting Verona. Exceeding all expectations, they have new and tastefully designed boutique hotel-like apartment rooms. The interior design and lighting is so dreamy, and have absolutely everything you might need for a short or long stay. Kitchen is high tech, everything is provided for including laundry and dishwasher tablets. Bed and bath linen top quality and the AC unit is whisper quiet, crucial for Italian summers.
  
  The accommodation is simply the best we have ever stayed for an apartment style providing every function and comfort you need. Prefer this over any mainstream hotel. 3 min walk to bus stop, very frequent busses to city old town (5 min ride). 2 min walk to large supermarket. We felt like a local!

  Perfect place to stay ,it has everything you need -dark curtains if you want to sleep,coffee ,washing machine,big bathroom,big bed .The location is walking distance to the center.

  I recently stayed at this stylish, clean, and modern apartment in Verona, and it was absolutely perfect! The hosters were the best and made my stay even more enjoyable. The apartment had a sleek design and all the modern amenities I needed.Everything was very close to apartment.I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Verona!
