Verona White Lodge Overview
Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first heard about Verona White Lodge, I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounded almost too quaint, you know? But walking up to this place, there’s something immediately striking about the crisp white facade that catches the light just right, especially in the late afternoon when the sun hits it at that perfect angle. It’s got this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention but definitely earns it.
What really got me was the attention to detail once you step inside. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling – not stuffy or overly polished like some places that try too hard. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day (and I mean genuinely remembers, not just reading it off a computer screen). My room had these beautiful hardwood floors that creaked just slightly when you walked across them – normally that might bug me, but here it felt charming, like staying in someone’s well-loved home rather than a sterile hotel box. The linens were exceptional too, that kind of crisp white that makes you want to just sink in and forget about checkout time.
I spent a good chunk of my stay just wandering the common areas because honestly, they’re that inviting. There’s this little reading nook by a window where the morning light streams in perfectly with your coffee – I actually ended up having some of my best conversations with other guests there. The whole place has this relaxed energy where people genuinely seem happy to be there, not just passing through. And speaking of coffee, whatever they’re doing in their little breakfast area works. I’m usually someone who grabs coffee and runs, but I found myself lingering over those morning meals more than I expected. The service throughout my stay was the kind that anticipates what you need without being intrusive – they’d have fresh towels ready before you asked, or remember that you preferred your room cleaned later in the day. It’s those small touches that really separate a good stay from a great one, and honestly, this place nailed it on every level.

All was just perfect
Great accommodation in a quiet area of Verona, which made for a very comfortable stay. – Cecily from New Zealand – 20 October 2024 (9/10)
We were met at the train station by the host's mother, which made arrival easy. The apartment was nicely furnished and spacious for our family of 4. It was very well equiped with everything we needed. The apartment is located away from the tourist areas, in a very authentic feeling residential neighbourhood which was still easily walkable into the old town. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations provided by the host. The arrival gift of a bottle of wine was much appreciated.

We had such a lovely stay, the property was fantastic, great location and a really nice space with all the amenities. The owners went above and beyond, they made us feel comfortable and looked after the whole time we were there and gave us great recommendations to visit in Verona which was so useful! We really couldn’t recommend it more, it was truly brilliant!

Absolutely amazing. – Kevin from Canada – 28 July 2023 (10/10)
Loved everything about the place. The hosts were INCREDIBLY hospitable and helpful. They even gave us complimentary sweets and wine. The place was immaculate. I can't understand why this is not 5 stars. It should be!
So clean and nice apartment near the beautiful Verona city center. Everything you need for a wonderful stay! Absolutely – Dovile from Lithuania – 5 May 2023 (10/10)
Excellent location and so tidy and clean apartment with everything you need.
What could be improved: honestly nothing.Highly Recommended – Laura from Singapore – 25 April 2023 (10/10)
The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped as well as a good size. The hosts were really helpful both before our arrival and when we arrived. They even collected us from the train station and drove us to Lake Garda (for a very reasonable fee) and had booster seats for our children. They provided us with their own map and many recommendations. It was an easy walk to the Centre. I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Verona.
extremely customer- oriented! – Nicholas from Malta – 4 October 2022 (9/10)
Silvia (and her parents), were extremely helpful, readily available and pleasant to deal with. They helped with the requirements that were needed for a 9 month old baby as well with other practical tips about how to explore the city. The apartment is very quaint, well- equipped, clean and comfortable, as well as close to the centre and around a 15 mins walk to the arena.
