Rather than being stuck in one building, you’re actually staying in carefully selected accommodations scattered throughout Verona‘s historical center, each one positioned to give you a genuine taste of living like a local in this incredible city.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about Verona — the historical center isn’t huge, but where you stay within it makes all the difference. VeronaJourneys has figured this out perfectly, placing their properties right in the sweet spots where you can walk to Juliet’s balcony in five minutes, grab an aperitivo at a neighborhood bar that’s been family-run for generations, and still feel like you’re discovering hidden corners that most tourists miss. I mean, there’s a reason couples rate the location 9.4 — you’re literally living inside a Renaissance painting, with cobblestone streets and medieval buildings as your daily backdrop.

The Accommodations

Each apartment feels thoughtfully curated rather than cookie-cutter corporate. The beds — and honestly, this matters more than people admit — are genuinely comfortable.   5 minutes walking to the old town ( is like in front ). Location is great, hosts Licia and Gaia also great, Gaia made a whole itinerary of things we should do and restaurants we should try, she was super sweet!

  Host was absolutely great. The location itself is idyllic and perfectly located on the river. A fantastic stay, in a beautiful city – thank you! We stayed with our 4 children and the place was absolutely perfect, and the host went out of her way to help us out too, so thank you!

  Great location! Also the apartment looks incredible! True recommend!
  
  What could be improved: There was a coffee machine but unfortunately in the apartment we couldn’t find a coffee or tea. It was annoying as we discovered it on the morning. Don’t get me wrong – the place is amazing! And worth to stay in. But it was one little detail that was missing. Also once you are there you need to pay 200€ deposit. It was the very first time I had to pay the deposit. Once you check out you need to wait about the week for the pre authorization cancellation.

  I thought the area was nice. It was by the river and the bridge, so it was easy to navigate where to go. There were food spots near by also, so I thought it was a stay worth having.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing really, everything worked okay. I do wish I could have stayed longer to utilize all the appliances the apartment offered. Staying only one night was worth it, but I wish I could’ve stayed longer.
