Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Veronauptoyou Apartments, I sort of rolled my eyes at the wordplay. But you know what? After spending a few nights there, I actually get it now. There’s something refreshingly straightforward about a place that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that attitude carries through the entire experience. The apartments have this lived-in feel that’s way more comfortable than those sterile hotel chains – I mean, you can actually spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re disrupting some magazine photo shoot.

What really got me was how quiet it stays, even during peak season when Verona is absolutely packed with tourists doing the whole Romeo and Juliet pilgrimage. The soundproofing is surprisingly good (trust me, I’m a light sleeper), and honestly, that 9.0 rating makes complete sense once you settle in for a night or two. The staff – well, they’re not hovering around trying to upsell you on everything, which I appreciate. They’ll point you toward the good gelato spots that locals actually go to, not just the overpriced tourist traps near the arena. And speaking of practical stuff, the check-in was refreshingly smooth – none of that awkward waiting around in a tiny lobby while someone ahead of you argues about room upgrades.

The apartments themselves have character without being quirky for quirky’s sake. You get proper kitchen setups (not those sad little kitchenettes with a mini-fridge and delusions of grandeur), decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every time someone else connects, and bathrooms with actual water pressure. I loved having morning coffee on the balcony instead of rushing down to some crowded breakfast buffet – there’s something about watching the city wake up that beats continental breakfast every time. The three-star rating might make you think it’s basic, but honestly? Sometimes basic done really well beats luxury done poorly. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning actually works when you need it, and there’s enough storage space that you won’t be living out of your suitcase for your entire stay. Plus, and this might sound silly, but the whole place smells clean without that overwhelming chemical scent some hotels assault you with the moment you walk in.

  the apartment is very clean and neat, you have everything here, kettle, toaster, cooker…, and it is quite close to the centre (10-12min walk)
  
  near the apartment there is a bus stop which takes you directly to the train station
  
  and the apartment itself is situated in a very cosy neighbourhood, like old little town

  The house was very nice and located to a beautiful area close to the center,just a few minutes walk. The owners are super nice and helped us giving helpful information !! If we visit Verona again , for sure we will be staying here!!!

  Very good service from Susanna, the host. The location is close to the Verona center, about 15 minutes from the Piazza Erbe by foot. At the same time it is outside the limited traffic zone, so we drove up with our car and kept it in the courtyard, when needed. Note that the dimensions of the entrance gate allow to pass a compact car, ours was Toyota Yaris. With a help of another person it was possible to enter even though the clearances were small. The apartment had everything we needed, the bathroom was well designed and the bed was comfortable. Thank you, Susanna!

  Very comfy bed! Since the street and inner patio were very quiet, we had a restful sleep.
  The place was in walking distance from tourist attractions (città antica, castel san pietro, giardino giusti, etc.) – around 10 min to each.

  Location was quite good, 20 mins walk from the main attractions. Apartment comfortable and well equipped for a few days to stay.
  
  What could be improved: For those who bring car make sure its small because the tunel to reach the parking is incredibly narrow (opel corsa barely fit with the side mirrors folded)
