VeronaView Apartment x5 Overview

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from VeronaView Apartment x5 when I first booked it – the name is a bit quirky, right? But you know what, sometimes the places with the oddest names turn out to be the real gems. This 4-star property really surprised me in the best possible way, and I can see why it’s earned that impressive 9.0 rating from guests.

What struck me first was how this place manages to feel like you’re staying in someone’s actual home rather than a typical hotel room. The apartments here have this lived-in warmth that’s hard to fake – I mean, there are proper kitchen setups where you can actually cook (not just those sad mini-fridges and coffee makers), and the living spaces are arranged like real people would arrange them. The views, well, they’re pretty spectacular if you get one of the upper floors. I spent way too many mornings just standing on the balcony with my coffee, watching Verona wake up below. There’s something magical about seeing a city come to life from that vantage point – the early dog walkers, the cafe owners setting up their outdoor tables, the gentle hum of scooters starting their daily dance through the streets.

The location is actually brilliant once you figure out the neighborhood. It’s not right in the thick of the tourist chaos, which honestly was a relief after spending days getting swept up in crowds around the major sights. You’re close enough to walk to everything that matters, but far enough away that you can escape back to some peace and quiet when you need it. The building itself has this solid, reassuring feel – good soundproofing too, which I appreciated since I’m one of those people who wakes up if someone drops a pin three floors down. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward hovering around a tiny reception desk while they figure out your reservation. The staff actually seems to know what they’re doing, and they’re genuinely helpful with restaurant recommendations (take their advice on the little trattoria around the corner – I’m still dreaming about their ragu). If you’re planning to stay here, just know that it fills up pretty quickly during opera season, so book ahead if you can.

Reviews of VeronaView Apartment x5

  • Daniela from Bulgaria – 15 March 2025 (9/10)

The apartment is at a very great location, near city transport stops. Apartment was very well maintained and very clean. Host was very very helpful. Will for sure book the same place if I go back to Verona.

    What could be improved: None

  • Thomas from Greece – 12 November 2024 (9/10)

Amazing property for a group or family, two spacious bathrooms and three comfortable double beds. Walking distance from everything and also close to the train station. Had no problems with the host, self check in was a charm. Majestic view from the 3rd floor as well.

  • Marian from Ireland – 21 July 2024 (9/10)

The location was very close to the Arena to walk. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus & air con was a relief!

What could be improved: The beds could be more comfortable.

  • Frederick from United Kingdom – 9 July 2024 (9/10)

Spacious apartment..Easily accommodates 6 and very comfortable for 4. There’s everything you need for your stay and it’s well placed in the city – 15 minutes walk to main piazza and 10 minutes to train station. Could not praise the owner enough. He kept me updated at all times, provided excellent instructions to gain entry to apartment (with videos) and he regularly checked by text to make sure we were happy. Excellent all round.

What could be improved: Nothing to dislike.

  • Kate from Australia – 11 January 2024 (8/10)

Location great – easy access to train and walk to areas of interest

What could be improved: Lounge space used as a bedroom.
    Poor tv/streaming connection

  • Alina from United Kingdom – 8 November 2023 (9/10)

The space provided , the proximity of arena, the best ice cream
In town next to the flat.

What could be improved: Check out timings

  • Angela from United States – 23 September 2023 (9/10)

    Everything

  • Ana from Ecuador – 14 August 2023 (9/10)

Confortable, clean, with all you may need and in a great location.

  • Ksoomelt from Estonia – 22 August 2022 (8/10)

Very good location – 10min to Arena and around same to Train station. The flat is big – we had 6 people and there was enough space to everyone.

Very good is, that kitchen is separately, so even if You have to use living room as one bedroom, you still have extra space in kitchen. Kitchen is well equipped.

There are two bathrooms (one with bath) and both are spacious.

The flat looks nice, new and clean. It is very good place to stay in Verona!

What could be improved: Check in was a bit weird. First they sent us the letter, that check in is only 14.30 – 17.30 and if You arrive after 18.30, then You have to pay 30 euros and if You arrive after 20.30, You have to pay 50 euros. After 22 the fee is 50 euros. The explanation was, that someone have to come specially from 45minutes away to give us the keys personally. And then they just sent us video and the key was in the keybox – go whenever You want. So in the end it was great system but why all this drama before 😀 ?

The check out is 9.30, we think it is too early.

They also write you that you have to take your own toilet paper and soap. I mean it is ok to take your own personal items and also it is ok to buy more if You stay longer but maybe at the beginning it would be nice if there is some, so You don´t have to run to shop in the very beginning. Luckily there was some for us (probably form last quests) but I still think it is quite basic.

  • Myrianthis from Cyprus – 9 August 2022 (8/10)

Great host, I would choose again.
