Veroniamo Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Veroniamo, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name itself is intriguing, sort of mysterious, and that actually turned out to be pretty fitting for the whole experience. This 4-star place has been quietly earning a reputation that’s honestly impressive (we’re talking a 9.7 rating, which you just don’t see that often), and after spending a few nights there, I totally get why.
What strikes you first isn’t some flashy lobby or over-the-top design – it’s more subtle than that. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting the details right, you know? Like, they remember your coffee preference from day one, and the housekeeping is so thorough that I actually found myself looking forward to coming back to my room each evening. The rooms themselves have this comfortable, lived-in elegance that doesn’t feel stuffy or pretentious. I mean, the linens are clearly high-quality, and there’s this attention to lighting that makes everything feel warm rather than hotel-sterile. Actually, the bathroom setup was particularly well thought out – good water pressure (always a gamble), decent counter space, and they’ve managed to fit everything in without making it feel cramped.
The thing that really won me over, though, was how they handle the little frustrations that usually come with hotel stays. Check-in was smooth and quick, parking wasn’t a nightmare, and the walls are thick enough that you’re not listening to your neighbors’ entire vacation. I stayed during what seemed like a pretty busy period, but the common areas never felt chaotic or overcrowded. There’s something to be said for a place that can maintain that calm, welcoming atmosphere even when they’re clearly doing well. The dining situation is solid too – not groundbreaking, but consistently good with some nice local touches that show they’re actually thinking about where they are rather than just serving generic hotel food. Honestly, it’s the kind of place where you start to understand why some people become regulars at certain hotels. It’s not trying to be everything to everyone, but what it does, it does really, really well.

Reviews of Veroniamo
Blanca from United States – 30 March 2025 (9/10)
The property was exceptionally clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed—including two bathrooms and easy, free parking. The owner was incredibly communicative and made the check-in process seamless. A few days before our arrival, they reached out and sent us detailed videos of the apartment, along with clear instructions on how to check in and where to find everything we’d need. We were well-prepared and felt at ease upon arrival. They even provided a parking pass, which made parking free and hassle-free. As a thoughtful touch, they left us a bottle of wine and some snacks to enjoy. Overall, it was a smooth and welcoming experience from start to finish.
What could be improved: If I had to mention one thing, it would be that the property is a bit farther from the city center—about a 25-minute walk. However, for us, this was actually a plus. We really enjoyed the walk into town, especially since there were plenty of charming restaurants and pastry shops along the way. While the distance might be something to consider for those who prefer to be right in the heart of the city, we personally found the location peaceful and just right for our stay.Thiago from United Kingdom – 26 February 2025 (10/10)
Andrea welcomed me since I first confirmed the reservation. He is a very nice person, replied quickly to every message, and was thoughtful in everithing I needed. He even tested me everyday to know if I needed anything. Definetely recommend it and will stay there again in my next trips to Verona

the only negative aspect of our stay is that we could only stay one night :). don't hesitate to book this place. located in a residential neighborhood away from the tourist crowds , yet only 10 minutes walking to the center. the service was impeccable, as were the free gifts upon arrival. you can tell the owner really puts his heart into his business.
