I mean, couples absolutely love this spot for good reason — there’s something romantic about having Juliet’s House and the Arena within easy walking distance, but still being able to retreat to this quiet corner when the day-trippers head back to their buses. The Adige River is right there too, perfect for those evening strolls that make Verona feel magical.

The Space

My room had this interesting mix of modern comfort and historical character that actually worked really well. The ceilings were higher than I expected, and the windows — well, they open onto views that remind you you’re staying in a city that’s been here for centuries. The bathroom was compact but thoughtfully designed, and I appreciated that they didn’t try to cram too much into the space. Everything felt intentional, from the lighting to the way they’d preserved some of the original architectural details.

Daily Rhythms

Breakfast happens in a cozy space that feels more like someone’s elegant dining room than a hotel restaurant. They keep it simple but quality — fresh pastries, good coffee, and local touches that show they’re paying attention to where they are. I found myself lingering longer than usual, partly because the atmosphere was so relaxed and partly because stepping outside meant diving into Verona’s energy. The staff here seems to genuinely know the neighborhood, which comes in handy when you want recommendations that go beyond the obvious tourist spots.

  This is the perfect apartment for visiting Verona – right next to the Castelveccio so its location is fantastic. Easy to have dinner next to the Arena and people watch and then wander home. A huge supermarket is 5 mins walk – and its an easy 15 min walk from the train station. We loved sitting on the balcony for our breakfast. We had some rain in Verona and the apartment was great to retreat to and watch the storm pass by from large windows in the living room. The key handover was seemless. We ate out and had drinks at the local cafe Osteria Marconi which was fantastic and had really welcoming staff. We flew back to NZ from Milan from here using the 7:30 train – for a 1pm flight – meaning we didn't need to shift accommodation for our last night – super easy!

  The apartment is BEAUTIFUL, big and modern and the location is excellent. I really enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace and the kitchen and bathroom had everything you may need. The communication with the host was pleasant.
  
  What could be improved: I didn't like that it is expected from the guests to throw out the trash since we do not know where are the trash cans or the way trash is supposed to be divided in Verona.

  Fantastic location, easy walking distance to all of the historical places of interest . Great bars and restaurants nearby. Situated in a nice residential area. Close to a Supermarket. Fairly comfortable and air conditioned modern apartment, with two balconies. Well equipped kitchen, and great amenities including a washing machine. Comfortable bed, nice and clean throughout. The staff were really friendly and helpful during our stay. Particularly Francesca, who sent us some great recommendations for local restaurants and places of interest.
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing to dislike about the apartment. It is up two flights of stairs that may be an issue to some people.
