Vicolo Leoni 2BRD apartment Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Vicolo Leoni 2BRD apartment, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The whole “vicolo” thing made me think we’d be tucked away in some narrow Roman alley, and you know what? I wasn’t entirely wrong about the intimate vibe this place delivers.
This is one of those spots that really gets the whole “apartment hotel” concept right. You’re not dealing with some sterile corporate setup here – it actually feels like you’re staying in someone’s thoughtfully designed home, just with better linens than you probably have at your own place. The two-bedroom layout is genuinely spacious, which honestly surprised me given how cramped some European accommodations can be. I mean, you can actually open your suitcase without having to rearrange all the furniture first, which is basically a luxury in itself these days. The kitchen setup is particularly clever – not just some sad mini-fridge situation, but actually functional if you want to grab groceries and make breakfast instead of hunting for an overpriced café every morning.
What really won me over was the attention to those little details that make a difference when you’re living somewhere for more than just a quick overnight. The WiFi actually works (shocking, I know), there’s decent water pressure in the shower, and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with a marshmallow all night. The whole place has this sort of understated elegance – clean lines, good lighting, furniture that looks like actual humans chose it rather than some hotel procurement department. I particularly appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with the “local charm” decorating – sometimes you just want a comfortable, well-designed space without feeling like you’re living inside a tourism brochure. The soundproofing is solid too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to get some decent sleep in an unfamiliar place. Honestly, the 8.0 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of spot that delivers exactly what it promises without any weird surprises. You’re paying for that 4-star experience, and you’re actually getting it, which feels increasingly rare these days. If you’re the type who values having your own space and kitchen access over daily housekeeping and a lobby full of tour groups, this place really nails that sweet spot between hotel convenience and apartment comfort.

Good internet wifi.
Big tv great for movie before the sleep.
What could be improved: You should bring your own moka pot as the one in the flat is very old and not maintained good.

What could be improved: Nothing. It was just what we neededDominic from United States – 22 July 2023 (8/10)
Good location, ACs were cold enough, attached bathrooms for each of the two rooms were perfect for two couples sharing the apartment
What could be improved: Host wasn’t too accommodating- wouldn’t help us in getting a taxi to the train station, just give us a phone number ( which answers in Italian) to call for taxi; power was out while we were in the apartment one day and host finally showed up and was kind of blaming us for using too much electricity.Matthew from Australia – 28 June 2023 (8/10)
This property was immaculate. 2 bedroom apartment (huge bedrooms) and 2 beautiful clean bathrooms. Perfectly located next to cafes, restaurants, public transport and train station. We really loved this property
