Vista Apartments Verona Overview
You know what really surprised me about Vista Apartments Verona? It’s one of those places that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you’re settled in, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty special. I mean, with a 9.4 rating, I had high expectations, but honestly – this little three-star spot delivered in ways I wasn’t expecting.
The apartments themselves have this lived-in quality that I actually love – nothing too polished or sterile, just comfortable spaces that feel like someone’s well-cared-for home rather than a generic hotel room. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which is huge if you’re planning to stay in Verona for more than a couple nights. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, let’s be real, Italian hotel breakfasts can be hit or miss, and having that control over your routine makes such a difference. The beds are surprisingly good – firm but not rock-hard – and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which isn’t always a given in older Italian buildings.
What really sold me on this place though was how the staff treated guests like actual people rather than room numbers. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, and when I mentioned I was hoping to catch an early train to Venice one morning, they made sure I knew exactly which bus to take and where to catch it. These are the kind of small touches that separate decent accommodation from places you’d actually recommend to friends. The neighborhood itself has this authentic residential vibe – you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble, but you’re also not so far out that getting to the main sights becomes a production. I could walk to the Piazza delle Erbe in about fifteen minutes, which meant I could duck back to the apartment during the afternoon heat wave we had that week. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving (isn’t it always in Italian cities?), but they’ll point you toward the nearest spots where you won’t get ticketed. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper and get unlucky with neighbors, you might hear some conversation in the evenings – but honestly, that’s pretty standard for most places in this price range.
Best hotels in Verona range from luxurious properties in the historic city center to boutique hotels with stunning views of the Adige River and ancient Roman amphitheater.

Host was super friendly and helpful, could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Anna made contact with me on the day of check in and sent travel information for getting from train station to accommodation, as well as recommendations on where to eat. She came down to meet us arriving to hand keys over and show us around etc. The apartment was lovely, clean and central to main attractions. 100% recommend!!
