VISTA Verona Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about VISTA Verona, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a newer luxury property in a city that’s practically drowning in historic hotels. But you know what? This place completely surprised me, and I mean that in the best possible way. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how real people want to experience Verona, not just how to pack tourists into rooms.
What really gets me is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between modern comfort and respecting the city’s incredible character. The rooms – and I’m talking from actually staying here, not just peeking around – have these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the cityscape like living postcards. I spent way too much time just watching the light change over the terracotta rooftops, especially during that golden hour when everything looks like it’s been dipped in honey. The beds are honestly some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Italy (and trust me, I’ve done my share of hotel hopping), with linens that feel expensive without being fussy. The bathrooms deserve a mention too – marble that doesn’t feel cold somehow, and water pressure that actually works, which anyone who’s traveled through Italy will appreciate.
But here’s what really sold me on this place: the staff genuinely knows Verona. I’m not talking about rehearsed recommendations – I mean they’ll tell you which gelato place the locals actually go to (hint: it’s not the one everyone photographs), or suggest timing your visit to Juliet’s balcony for early morning when you can actually see it without fighting crowds. The concierge pointed me toward this tiny osteria tucked behind Piazza delle Erbe that I never would have found otherwise, and honestly, it ended up being the highlight of my trip. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to experience a city authentically rather than just checking boxes. The breakfast deserves a shout-out too – proper Italian coffee, obviously, but also local pastries and this incredible selection of regional cheeses that changes based on what’s seasonal. It’s the kind of attention to detail that makes you realize why this place has earned its stellar reputation so quickly.
Verona’s apartments offer charming accommodations with period features, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this culturally rich Italian city.

Spa was exceptional.
What could be improved: The diner menu is the room service menu. We made a reservation for diner for when we arrived late that evening. There is really no restaurant for evening dining. It’s the breakfast room with room service menu and food was ok.Nieves from Germany – 27 October 2024 (10/10)
The breakfast is exceptional. There is a good selection of cheeses, fruits, pastries, ham, smoked salmon, vegetables and different types of bread.
You can also order a la carte menu (eggs benedict, bagels, pancakes, omelletes, etc.).
The building is beautiful and perfectly located. It is elegant and every detail is well cared for.
The spa is small and cosy with good staff.
The room is super spacious and beautiful! It has a bathtub where you can take a soak in the tub.
Also, there is a mini bar with high quality products and plenty of water to drink and coffee as complement.

Exceptional staff, small but very nice spa.
What could be improved: The food at the rooftop bar is expensive and not quite as nice as expected but the beautiful view makes it worth itLaurens from Netherlands – 19 June 2024 (10/10)

Seriously the best hotel we stayed at. Immaculate decor, exquisite attention and excellent service/facilities.
The staff was incredibly nice, they couldn’t do enough for us! We were very well taken care of, and from the room to the treats we received upon checkout this was the best experience ever!
Breakfast was great with lots of options and the ladies at the restaurant are super friendly; we ordered room service for dinner and it was delicious, they recommended a bottle of wine for us and it was so good!
Terrace has insane views and hotel is in a prime location. Spa is also great, massages were the best.
We enjoyed everything, we couldn’t have chosen a better place.
If we come back to the city, we will definitely return to Vista Verona, we’re in love, grazie mille!
What could be improved: Nothing, everything was amazing!!
