We Home – Romeo&Giulietta Luxury Retreat Overview
You know what caught me off guard about We Home – Romeo&Giulietta Luxury Retreat? The name had me expecting something overly theatrical and touristy, but honestly, this 4-star spot surprised me in the best way. I mean, sure, the Shakespeare theme is there, but it’s done with this subtle elegance that doesn’t make you feel like you’re sleeping in a theme park. The whole place has this intimate, romantic vibe that actually works – and I’m saying this as someone who usually rolls their eyes at overly cutesy hotel concepts.
What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to create genuine luxury without that stuffy, untouchable feeling you get at some high-end places. The rooms have these beautiful period touches – think rich fabrics and classic furniture – but everything’s been updated with modern comfort in mind. The beds are seriously comfortable (I’m talking sink-right-in quality), and the bathrooms have this spa-like feel with gorgeous fixtures and plenty of space to actually move around. Actually, the attention to detail throughout is pretty remarkable – from the way they’ve curated the artwork to the quality of the linens, you can tell someone really cares about the guest experience here.
The service strikes that perfect balance between attentive and not hovering, which honestly can be hard to find. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing, and they’re quick to help with recommendations or special requests without making a big production of it. I noticed they remember little preferences too, which is always a nice touch. The 8.0 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place that delivers on what it promises without any major letdowns. Sure, it might not have every bell and whistle of a massive resort, but that’s actually part of its charm. It feels more personal, more carefully crafted. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels special without being pretentious, and you appreciate good design and genuine hospitality, this place is definitely worth considering. Just don’t expect a huge lobby or tons of facilities – the magic here is in the details and the overall experience they’ve created.

Il appartamento pulito, nuovo e comodo. La doccia perfetta
What could be improved: Il ascensore non funzionava bene, staff non è molto gentileSebastiano from Italy – 10 February 2025 (8/10)
comodo perché era una casa molto vivibile e al centro della città
What could be improved: un po macchinoso il rapporto con la direzioneYuh from Australia – 8 January 2025 (3/10)
Location was very central and apartment was spacious
What could be improved: The heating didn’t work so for a January visit it was extremely unpleasant inside the apartment. The dishes stacked in the cupboards were dirty. The electrical socket for the washing machine didn’t work. There was water in the beam above the children’s beds which we had to use a towel to soak up as it was dripping onto their beds. There was visible signs of mould on the window architraves and other places around the apartment.Horacio from Argentina – 13 October 2024 (9/10)
El apartamento está muy bien ubicado, y recientemente reciclado.
What could be improved: El segundo dormitorio tiene el cielorraso peligrosamente bajo. La instalación eléctrica del lavarropas no funcionaba, debimos improvisar una soluciónLaura from United States – 5 October 2024 (8/10)
Location
What could be improved: Difficult door locking system . Email with codes arrived after 3:00 pm, had a very hard time using this system. When I hadn’t received the code initially, and phoned, I found the person quite abrupt- almost to the point of rude.
No “household instructions “- recycling, wifi location, how to use the induction stove, how to open the blinds in upstairs bedroom. No welcoming packet- where to get a taxi, how to reach a doctor( which I had needed), restaurant suggestions etc. In other apartment rentals throughout Italy , I have always had a “welcoming booklet” of sorts z Air conditioner was not very strong.Elizabeth from Germany – 20 August 2024 (8/10)
Location, layout
What could be improved: Washing machine did not work and it seemed that managers were really interested in attending to the problem.Uresh from United Kingdom – 15 August 2024 (9/10)
Easy to locate and great location.
Electronic key via the App provided by hosts.
Perfectly spotless and all facilities required for a comfortable stay was provided.
What could be improved: No where to leave heavy luggage on arrival (14:00) before check-in (15:00) even though we asked.William from Australia – 22 July 2024 (8/10)
Spacious, excellent facilities
Johannes from United States – 23 June 2024 (6/10)
Clean and recently remodeled apartment
What could be improved: Run down almost scary lobby. Did not like the vkey system. Property manager had mixed up vkeys and we got a fright when arriving late evening and our apartment was occupied. After phone calls with management who was only somewhat helpful and not apologetic we decided to switch condos with the other family and things turned out ok but the vkey was a hassle and difficult to use each time.Juan from Argentina – 13 June 2024 (8/10)
