Welcome Verona Rooms & Apartments Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Welcome Verona Rooms & Apartments, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place that seemed to straddle the line between hotel and apartment rentals. But after staying there twice now (once in spring, once during the crazy summer tourist rush), I can tell you this 4-star spot has figured out something really special.
The thing that struck me immediately was how they’ve managed to create this perfect middle ground between having your own space and getting actual hotel service. You’re not dealing with some random Airbnb host who may or may not respond to your messages – there’s a proper front desk, housekeeping that actually knows what they’re doing, and staff who seem genuinely invested in making sure you’re sorted. The apartments themselves feel like someone’s well-appointed home rather than a sterile hotel room, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re in Verona for more than just a quick weekend. I mean, having a proper kitchen means you can grab fresh produce from the local markets and actually use it, rather than just staring at beautiful Italian tomatoes and realizing you have nowhere to prepare them.
What really won me over, though, was the attention to detail that you only notice after you’ve been in enough mediocre places. The WiFi actually works throughout the entire space (revolutionary concept, I know), the beds are properly comfortable – not just hotel-standard firm – and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which you honestly can’t take for granted in some of these older Italian buildings. During my summer visit, the air conditioning was a lifesaver and didn’t sound like a freight train, which is saying something. The soundproofing is surprisingly good too; even during the busiest tourist season when the streets can get pretty lively, I slept through the night without issues. Check-in was smooth both times – they actually seem organized and ready for you, rather than scrambling to figure out where your keys are. And you know what’s refreshing? The cleaning staff clearly takes pride in their work. Everything feels genuinely clean, not just surface-level tidy. The rating of 9.8 might sound almost too good to be true, but honestly, after staying there myself, I get it. It’s one of those places that handles the basics flawlessly and then adds thoughtful touches that make you want to come back. If you’re planning to spend more than a night or two exploring the city properly – hitting up the markets, wandering beyond just the arena and Juliet’s balcony tourist circuit – this is exactly the kind of base you want.

Extrem netter Gastgeber, sehr freundlich, sehr viele gute und hilfreiche Sightseeing-Tipps,
es war auch netterweise kein Problem, am Abreisetag ein wenig später als üblich auszuchecken

Great apartment in a very practical location, close to Verona Porta Nuova railway station and just a few steps way from the inner city. Clean, good wifi, tables to work and a cute balcony. Daniel the owner, welcomed me personally, we had a good chat and he has a lot of great recos for the city if you happen to be there the first time.

This is a fantastic air conditioned apartment in Verona. Close to the station and just a short stroll into the old city centre. It has been very thoughtfully fitted out with the guests comfort in mind. Newly renovated throughout, you get a well stocked kitchen and modern bathroom. Lots of coffee pods and an assortment of teas was welcome. We just bought milk. Lift access to the third floor was a big plus, as was the cute outdoor terrace. Daniel the host met us and gave us great recommendations for food and sights in Verona. He is a most responsive and charming person to deal with.
What could be improved: Bedside reading lamps would be our only suggestion. Otherwise perfect.Milena from Netherlands – 30 September 2024 (10/10)

What could be improved: That I had to leave.
