The breakfast spread was solid without being overwhelming; good coffee, local pastries, and they had actual fresh fruit instead of the sad hotel cantaloupe you sometimes get. I stayed during shoulder season in late spring, and the place had this calm, lived-in energy – busy enough that the staff was attentive but not so packed that you felt like you were fighting for attention. The 8.9 rating makes sense when you consider it’s one of those places that just… works. Nothing’s going to blow your mind, but nothing’s going to disappoint you either, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re using a hotel as a home base to explore one of Italy’s most romantic cities.

  The location was perfect! The property was so beautiful and clean. It had everything I needed. There are also multiple doors to unlock to get in so for someone travelling alone I always felt incredibly safe. Jessica was so attentive and communicative the whole time. They were really accommodating for me before hand and really helpful! Honestly, the whole stay exceeded my expectations!
