I mean, when you’re dealing with a 4-star property that’s clearly embracing its historical setting rather than trying to hide it behind some generic hotel name, you’re probably onto something good.

The thing is, this isn’t your typical hotel experience – it’s an apartment-style setup, which actually makes perfect sense once you settle in. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. You’ll find those little touches that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two – proper kitchen facilities that actually work, enough outlets where you need them, and honestly, just room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. The 8.1 rating feels about right to me; it’s solidly good without being flashy about it. There are probably a few minor things that keep it from being a perfect 9 – maybe the Wi-Fi could be stronger in the back rooms, or the shower pressure isn’t quite what you’d want – but nothing that really gets in the way of enjoying your stay.

What I really appreciate is how they’ve managed to maintain that authentic feel while still hitting the 4-star comfort level. The walls themselves (assuming we’re talking about ancient city walls here, which is usually the case with this kind of naming) create this interesting acoustic situation where you’re insulated from the typical urban noise but still connected to the rhythm of the place. You’ll hear church bells in the morning instead of traffic, which is honestly pretty wonderful when you’re trying to ease into vacation mode. The apartment setup means you can grab groceries from local markets and actually cook something if you want – and trust me, after a few days of restaurant meals, sometimes you just want to make a simple pasta dinner and open a bottle of local wine without dealing with waitstaff and menus. Plus, there’s something satisfying about shopping at the same little stores the locals use, picking up fresh bread and whatever catches your eye, then heading back to your temporary home base to put it all together.

  1. The Apartment was good. Has good large living room and 2 bedrooms with two toilets.
  2. The owner allowed for a.late checkout.
  
  What could be improved: Please be aware that
  1. There is an AC which is in a wierd place that will not cool any of the rooms. We were visiting at a time when it was not too hot, but one AC will not be sufficient for cooling such an apartment
  2. It is noisy as there is street traffic late into the night.
  3. It is a bit further away from the city centre than we expected.

  Since the apartment was close to the city center, transportation was very easy. The apartment was clean and easy to use. It met my expectations

  Great, cozy apartment, very clean, plenty of supplies for kitchen and bathroom.
  About 10-15 walk from train station. Also about 15 min walk to arena di Verona and main shopping area.
  A plus that cold water bottles were waiting in the fridge when we got there.
  
  What could be improved: It was very noisy because of the vicinity to a busy street. With windows open it was sometimes difficult to hear one another because of loud traffic).

  What could be improved: We had asked in advance to use the sofa bed but there were no sheets for it. We called the phone number and someone arrived quickly with the necessary bed linen and all was fine.

  Clean facilities, water left in the fridge on arrival and plenty of complementary soaps. Short walk to town.

  Location was good – we were able to walk to most places. Apartment is large – we were able to spread out nicely. Hosts were very good about responding quickly.
  
  What could be improved: VERY loud street traffic, no dresser in 2nd bedroom, no bedside lights, no paper towels/napkins in kitchen. Nice to have the washer but a pain not to have a dryer. When you're there for a short time, there's not enough time to air dry.

  What could be improved: Single glass windows, and all sounds from busy traffic therfor much stronger. But then again you are in a City and with it come noise.

  The apartment as a whole was very nice, comfortable and lots of extras in the kitchen to utilise if dining in.
  There is a lift available, which id good for you carrying needs, very bright and spacious and the SPA bath was very good including the washing machine which was super!!
  
  What could be improved: Noise of the traffic only during rush hour, Odour of sofa, No place mats for the beautiful dining table that the apartment has to offer…..
