Amanti Apartment in Verona Overview
You know what surprised me most about Amanti Apartment in Verona? It’s one of those places that feels like you’re staying at a stylish friend’s place rather than some impersonal hotel room. I mean, when you’re dealing with a 4-star property that’s pulling in an 8.8 rating, you expect something decent – but this place actually delivers on that promise in ways that aren’t immediately obvious from the booking photos.
The apartment setup is honestly perfect if you’re planning to spend more than just a quick weekend in Verona. There’s something refreshing about having actual counter space where you can spread out your maps (yes, I still use paper maps sometimes) and maybe grab some local cheese and wine from one of the nearby markets to enjoy in the evening. The kitchen isn’t just for show either – it’s actually equipped well enough that you could cook a proper meal if you wanted to take a break from all the incredible restaurants around the city. I found myself making morning coffee there while planning out which palazzos to visit that day, and it felt… well, it felt normal in the best possible way.
What really won me over, though, was how the place manages to capture that authentic Veronese atmosphere without trying too hard. The building itself has that weathered elegance you find all over the historic center – thick walls that keep things cool during those brutal summer afternoons when the tourists are all melting in Piazza delle Erbe. You’re close enough to walk to Juliet’s balcony and the Arena without dealing with the chaos of staying right in the thick of it all. Actually, that’s probably the smartest thing about choosing this spot – you get the convenience of being centrally located but you can escape back to somewhere that feels like a real neighborhood when you need a breather. The locals clearly know this area well; I kept seeing the same faces at the corner café each morning, which is always a good sign. Parking can be a bit of an adventure (welcome to any Italian city center), but honestly, once you’re settled in, you’ll probably want to walk everywhere anyway. The whole experience just feels more genuine than those cookie-cutter hotel chains – and at this rating level, that authenticity is exactly what makes it worth booking.

The location is great. Its a very short walk from a paid parking (across the bridge) and from the center of Verona. The apartment is nice overall, but could be improved.
What could be improved: The entry in the building. The key to the building door did not work and heating was off, so it took a while to warm the place. It has two bathrooms but one of them has a broken door,so basically it's an open bathroom which doesn't help much.Kaso from Albania – 2 December 2024 (9/10)
Very good apartment in the center of the city. The host was very polite and the house was very clean and warm. We enjoyed our stay at the apartment.

The flat and the location
What could be improved: Bad management and security.
Poor instructions overall with esp difficult access and exit which was stressful and made the property dangerous in case of fire. The gate access electrics sometimes did not work and numerous keys were provided without explanation of their use. The gate keys did not work.
There was nothing programmed on the new TV and the new oven also diid not work
However the contact was very helpful where possible .Olga from Moldova – 6 March 2024 (9/10)
Lovely apartment in the heart of the city. It was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, the sheets were clean and the host left very clear instructions how to get inside.
What could be improved: It would be lovely to leave some coffee/ tea for the guestsKristinn from Iceland – 13 September 2023 (8/10)
We absolutely loved the spacious, clean, Italian style apartment. Its central location was perfect for exploring, and having 2 bathrooms with both a bathtub and a shower was a real luxury. The host was incredibly welcoming, making this place highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.
What could be improved: Can't complain about anything. The host was very lovely and helpfull. I told her after our stay about 2 missing items. She told me she was going to fix personally right away the same day.
