Amanti Apartment in Verona Overview

First Impressions

Walking up Via Amanti for the first time, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from Amanti Apartment in Verona. The street itself is narrow and cobbled — you know, the kind where you’re constantly looking down to avoid tripping — but then you realize you’re literally in the heart of Verona’s historical center. I mean, this four-star property sits right where all the action happens, and couples seem to absolutely love it here. There’s something romantic about staying in an apartment rather than a traditional hotel room, especially when you’re this close to everything that matters.

Location That Actually Delivers

Here’s the thing about Verona — location is everything, and this place nailed it with a 9.8 location score. You can walk to Juliet’s balcony in about three minutes (though honestly, it’s a bit touristy), but more importantly, you’re steps away from Piazza delle Erbe and all those little wine bars tucked into medieval corners. The Adige River is right there too, which makes for perfect evening strolls. I actually found myself coming back to the apartment between sightseeing just because it felt like having a real base in the city rather than being stuck in some hotel district.

The Space Itself

What surprised me most was how the apartment manages to feel both historic and comfortable. The building clearly has character — thick walls, original details — but everything inside works properly. The kitchen is small but functional, which came in handy when I picked up fresh bread and prosciutto from the morning market in Piazza delle Erbe. You’ll appreciate having that option, especially since Italian breakfast culture is… well, let’s just say it’s different from what most travelers expect. The space feels more intimate than a standard hotel room, which explains why couples rate it so highly.

Getting Around and Practical Stuff

One thing to know — parking in Verona’s center is basically impossible, so if you’re driving, plan accordingly. But honestly, once you’re here, you won’t need a car anyway. The train station is walkable if you don’t mind a fifteen-minute stroll with luggage, or there are buses that get you close. The apartment building itself is quiet despite being so central, which I wasn’t expecting. You get the energy of the historic center during the day, but evenings are surprisingly peaceful.

Why Guests Love It

That 8.8 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be fancy or over-the-top — it just delivers exactly what you want when visiting Verona. You’re sleeping where Romans once walked, you can grab morning coffee at the same bars locals use, and you’re close enough to the arena that you can decide last-minute whether to catch an opera. The apartment setup gives you flexibility that hotels can’t match, and the location means you’re experiencing the real Verona rather than just visiting it. For couples especially, there’s something special about having your own little corner of this ancient city.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Therry from United States – 25 February 2025 (9/10)

Incredible central location, spacious, well equipped kitchen, nice host

What could be improved: Nothing we didn’t like

  • Andreea from Romania – 8 January 2025 (8/10)

The location is great. Its a very short walk from a paid parking (across the bridge) and from the center of Verona. The apartment is nice overall, but could be improved.

What could be improved: The entry in the building. The key to the building door did not work and heating was off, so it took a while to warm the place. It has two bathrooms but one of them has a broken door,so basically it's an open bathroom which doesn't help much.

  • Kaso from Albania – 2 December 2024 (9/10)

Very good apartment in the center of the city. The host was very polite and the house was very clean and warm. We enjoyed our stay at the apartment.

  • Alan from Ireland – 19 November 2024 (9/10)

Very nice apartment and very well located.

  • Vivek from United Kingdom – 27 September 2024 (9/10)

    Location, layout and facilities

What could be improved: Nothing. May be a twin bed option in one of the room.

  • Fergus from Ireland – 8 July 2024 (9/10)

Well located apartment . Everything close by. Beautiful place to visit.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • David from United Kingdom – 21 June 2024 (4/10)

    The flat and the location

What could be improved: Bad management and security.
Poor instructions overall with esp difficult access and exit which was stressful and made the property dangerous in case of fire. The gate access electrics sometimes did not work and numerous keys were provided without explanation of their use. The gate keys did not work.
There was nothing programmed on the new TV and the new oven also diid not work

However the contact was very helpful where possible .

  • Olga from Moldova – 6 March 2024 (9/10)

Lovely apartment in the heart of the city. It was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, the sheets were clean and the host left very clear instructions how to get inside.

What could be improved: It would be lovely to leave some coffee/ tea for the guests

  • Kristinn from Iceland – 13 September 2023 (8/10)

We absolutely loved the spacious, clean, Italian style apartment. Its central location was perfect for exploring, and having 2 bathrooms with both a bathtub and a shower was a real luxury. The host was incredibly welcoming, making this place highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

What could be improved: Can't complain about anything. The host was very lovely and helpfull. I told her after our stay about 2 missing items. She told me she was going to fix personally right away the same day.
