Suite Antico Seminario Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Suite Antico Seminario on Via Seminario, you immediately get that “I made the right choice” feeling. The building has this understated elegance that fits perfectly with Verona’s historic character — it’s not trying too hard, but you can tell there’s something special here. The entrance feels intimate rather than grand, which honestly makes it more appealing than those massive hotel lobbies where you feel like just another tourist.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally in the heart of everything, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant street noise. I mean, this is apparently the top-rated area in Verona for a reason, and after spending time here, I get it. You can walk to Juliet’s balcony in about three minutes (though you’ll probably want to go early to avoid the crowds), and the Arena di Verona is maybe a five-minute stroll. What’s really nice is that you’re surrounded by those narrow cobblestone streets with actual local shops and cafes, not just tourist traps.
The Suite Experience
The room — well, suite really — feels more like staying in a beautifully appointed Italian apartment than a typical hotel. There’s genuine character here, with original architectural details that remind you you’re in a city that’s been around for centuries. The space is thoughtfully designed, and you actually have room to spread out your stuff without everything feeling cramped. The kitchenette is compact but functional if you want to grab some local ingredients from the market and have a quiet breakfast in.
What Sets It Apart
This four-star property punches above its weight in terms of service and attention to detail. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work — they’ll give you restaurant recommendations that locals actually go to, not just the obvious tourist spots. I noticed they pay attention to the little things too, like making sure you have everything you need without being intrusive about it. The whole place has this relaxed sophistication that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy being in Verona instead of rushing from sight to sight.
Why Guests Love It
Couples especially seem drawn to this place, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about the setting without it being overly themed or cheesy. The combination of the historic atmosphere, the prime location, and the intimate scale creates this perfect base for exploring the city. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but when you come back at the end of the day, it feels like your own little corner of Verona rather than just another hotel room. Plus, that 9.3 rating isn’t just numbers — you can feel it in the way the place is run and maintained.

Reviews of Suite Antico Seminario
Roberta from Italy – 4 April 2025 (10/10)
Alejandro from Spain – 25 March 2025 (9/10)
Davide from Italy – 5 October 2024 (10/10)

Travelbybike from Australia – 5 August 2024 (9/10)
This is a really comfortable, modern apartment, beautifully renovated. The kitchen has everything you could need, the bathroom is big and the two bedrooms are comfortable. There are some lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance, especially Dolciaria Cantonucci for coffee around the corner.
What could be improved: Since the master bedroom door doesn't close, proper light blocking curtains on the kitchen window would be nice. Better instructions on how to use the washing machine would be awesome. We wasted a lot of time on this. Once we worked out the express wash it was excellent. Yes the unit is on a busy corner and directly after a set of lights but the annoying motorcycles become scarce after 10pm and we slept ok. The second bedroom is quieter.István from Hungary – 22 July 2024 (9/10)
The whole flat is perfect as they said. Big spaces, nice furnitures, easy access to downtown. Pretty nice cafe's around. A parking garage is only 5 minutes walk away.
What could be improved: The only downside is the windows. The apartment is newly renovated but the windows let almost every sound in from the street.Paul from United Kingdom – 15 May 2024 (9/10)
Location good. A short walk to the river, then into the centre of the old town. Plenty of local bars, food takeaways, cafes etc. A couple of local grocery stores just a few metres away, and an excellent fruit and vegetable store a short walk away.
Luigi was an excellent host and answered a couple of questions we had.
What could be improved: Some traffic noise but this is Italy and everyone uses their horns.Eleonora from United Kingdom – 8 April 2024 (10/10)
The property is confortable ,beautiful interiors, the beds were so confortable everything curated. We loved how the storical features of the place were integrsted to the renovation. Wide space, wide doors. Fully equiped
The location is our favourite in Verona. 5 min walk to everything.
What could be improved: Nothing.We loved it.Zilvinas from Lithuania – 8 December 2023 (10/10)
The stay was simply perfect. Location is great, you can reach the old town in a short walk. The place itself is very spacious, and tastefully decorated, a perfect mixture between modern facilities and keeping the spirit of the original building details.
