I mean, this three-star property doesn’t try to be flashy — it’s actually refreshing how understated the entrance is. The moment you step inside, there’s this sense that you’re staying somewhere that locals would approve of, not some tourist trap. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work, and honestly, that makes all the difference when you’re navigating a new city.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about staying in Verona’s historical center — you’re either in the thick of it or you’re not, and Anastasia Suites is absolutely in the thick of it. You can walk to Juliet’s House in about three minutes (though you know what, early morning is the only time to see it without crowds). The Arena di Verona is maybe a five-minute stroll, and Piazza delle Erbe — where the real evening action happens — is practically around the corner. What I love is that you’re on a street that feels authentically Veronese, not just a tourist corridor. Couples especially seem to get this location, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about being able to wander these ancient streets and then slip back to your own little corner of the city.

The Suites

The rooms here are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than fancy. You get proper space to spread out — these are suites after all — and the furnishings feel contemporary without clashing with the building’s character. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained, which honestly matters more than you might think after a long day of sightseeing. What struck me most was how quiet it stays despite being right in the center. The windows do their job of keeping out the street noise, so you can actually sleep well even during Verona’s busier summer months.

Being this centrally located means you can actually experience Verona like someone who lives here. I’d walk to Caffè Wallner for morning coffee (locals go there), then spend the day exploring without worrying about getting back to some distant hotel. The evening aperitivo scene around Piazza dei Signori is right there when you want it. You can even walk to some of the better restaurants in Veronetta across the river — it’s maybe fifteen minutes on foot. Having this kind of access to both the tourist highlights and the everyday rhythms of the city is pretty special, especially at this price point.

  Struttura di recentissima ristrutturazione. L'abbinamento di scale in tufo e soffitti in legno antichi e finemente restaurati, di boiserie in legno e arredamento moderno curato in ogni dettaglio, con una bellissima jacuzzi e cromoterapia in camera, è davvero riuscito, wow! Inoltre, il fatto di avere una sola suite privata per piano, raggiungibile con ascensore, trasmette un senso di privacy di altissimo livello. Dobbiamo tornarci presto!

  La nostra suite è stata al di sopra di ogni nostra aspettativa: accogliente, nuovissima, ottimo stile di arredo, con una bellissima vasca idromassaggio in camera con cromoterapia, spettacolare. La sua posizione super centrale sul Corso di Santa Anastasia, vicinissima alla piazza delle Erbe, ci siamo sentiti coccolati in ogni momento, non mancava davvero nulla, tutto perfetto. Ritorneremo sicuramente presto e magari anche per più giorni. Grazie alla signora Federica, che ha sempre risposto alle nostre domande tempestivamente. 🤩

  Bellissimo, accogliente e raffinato nel cuore di Verona, questo è il posto perfetto! La posizione è imbattibile: centralissima a pochi passi da Piazza delle Erbe e dall’Arena. Le camere sono curate nei minimi dettagli, eleganti e dotate di ogni comfort. Lo staff rende il soggiorno ancora più speciale, sempre disponibili a dare consigli preziosi su cosa vedere e dove mangiare. Un’esperienza da ripetere assolutamente!
