Anfite Luxury Apartment Volto San Luca Overview
First Impressions
Walking down the narrow cobblestone path of Vicolo Volto San Luca, you’d almost miss Anfite Luxury Apartment Volto San Luca if you weren’t looking for it — and that’s exactly what makes it special. This four-star property sits tucked away in one of Verona‘s most charming medieval corners, where the stone walls seem to whisper centuries of history. I mean, you’re literally steps from Juliet’s House, but without the tourist chaos that comes with staying on the main drags.
Location Magic
Honestly, the location score of 9.4 doesn’t surprise me one bit. You can stumble out the door and find yourself at Piazza delle Erbe in about two minutes, or wander over to the Arena di Verona before your morning coffee gets cold. What I love about this spot is how it puts you right in the thick of things without the noise — these old buildings have thick walls, you know? The couples who rave about this place get it; there’s something incredibly romantic about having your own little hideaway in the heart of such a storied city.
The Space Itself
The apartment feels like someone’s stylish Italian home rather than a typical hotel room. The design strikes this perfect balance between respecting the building’s historic character and giving you all the modern comforts you actually want. You’ll find a well-equipped kitchenette that’s perfect for preparing a simple breakfast with fresh ingredients from the nearby market, though honestly, with so many incredible cafes within walking distance, I mostly used it for storing wine and making morning espresso.
The Verona Experience
What really sets this place apart is how it connects you to authentic Verona life. In the morning, you’ll hear the vendors setting up at the market, and in the evening, the gentle hum of locals heading to their favorite osteria. The building itself tells a story — you can see layers of history in the stonework and archways. It’s the kind of place where you start to feel like a temporary resident rather than just another tourist passing through.
Why Guests Love It
That 8.9 rating makes perfect sense when you experience how this property manages to be both intimate and well-appointed. The attention to detail is evident everywhere, from the thoughtful lighting that highlights the historic architecture to the quality linens that make you want to sleep in. Plus, there’s something to be said for having your own space in a city this enchanting — you can come and go as you please, store your market finds, and really settle into the rhythm of Italian life. For couples especially, it offers that rare combination of privacy and proximity to everything that makes Verona magical.
Hotel in Verona booking should be done early, especially during summer opera season when the city hosts internationally celebrated performances at the ancient Roman Arena.

Reviews of Anfite Luxury Apartment Volto San Luca
Claire from United Kingdom – 28 January 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was unique, the facilities lovely and location was excellent. The apartment is part of a converted church, so had some lovely unique features. It was a great space with two very good sized bedrooms with bathrooms and a large communal space. The host, Mirko, was attentive with information required for checking in and he gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and a taxi firm. It was a brilliant stay- would definitely recommend.
What could be improved: There wasn't anything I didn't like about this stay. It ticked all the boxes for us and our trip.Anna from Moldova – 4 January 2025 (9/10)

The architecture of the apartment. Old building full of personality.
Love the fresco and design furniture
What could be improved: Small things missing, such as dishcloth, mugs, …
As we were 4 people, the coffee maker was small
It would be good to have a washing machineBarbara from United States – 9 July 2022 (9/10)

The accommodation was wonderful, plenty of space to relax after a long day exploring the city. The quirky design of the interior (part of an old church) made the stay all that more enjoyable.
Very clean and well looked after.
Contact with the local host was quick and easy.
One of the key benefits was the location, only a 2 minute walk to the Arena Plaza, making the whole of the historical centre of Verona easily accessible.
What could be improved: Exterior secuity gate could do with a bit of attention to make it look less austere.Mark from United Kingdom – 17 May 2022 (9/10)
very clean and in a fab location

We were right in the ancient centre of Verona, a street away from Piaza Bra and the Arena. Fantastic location in a beautifully converted building. The apartment was very quirky with great quality furnishings. Verona is a beautiful city with lots to see. Communication with our host was excellent with easy details on how to gain entry to the apartment sent promptly on arrival in Italy.
What could be improved: A bigger welcome pack of milk and water would have been good but there was sparkling wine in the fridge waiting for us so we can't complain.Mel from United Kingdom – 27 April 2022 (8/10)
