You know what struck me first about APPARTAMENTO GLORIA? It’s one of those places that feels like you’re staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment rather than some sterile hotel room. I mean, the 9.2 rating honestly makes sense once you spend a night there – it’s the kind of score that comes from guests who appreciate the little things that most three-star places completely miss.

The apartment setup is really what sets this place apart. Instead of cramped hotel furniture bolted to the floor, you get actual living space with pieces that feel chosen rather than bulk-ordered. The kitchen area actually works – and I say “actually” because you know how most hotel kitchenettes are just for show. Here, you can brew proper coffee in the morning or grab something from a local market and make yourself a real meal. The bed situation is solid too; none of that rock-hard mattress nonsense you sometimes get at this price point. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – the windows do their job, and you’re not dealing with hallway noise since, well, there isn’t a traditional hallway setup.

Honestly, staying here feels a bit like house-sitting for someone with good taste. The décor walks that fine line between personal and neutral – interesting enough that you notice it, but not so specific that it feels weird. Gloria (I’m assuming that’s the owner or maybe a family member) clearly put thought into making this work for travelers. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, and the communication beforehand was actually helpful rather than just automated responses. I’ve stayed in plenty of three-star spots that felt more like two-star experiences, but this one punches above its weight class. It’s particularly great if you’re planning to spend actual time in your accommodation rather than just crashing there between tourist activities – the space encourages you to slow down a bit, maybe have that second cup of coffee before heading out for the day.

  Nagyon könnyen megközelíthető, parkoló helyet is találtunk a közelben. Nagy praktikus ajtó kialakítások vannak, nem veszik el a teret. A házigazda kávéval, gyümölccsel, péksütivel kedveskedett.
  
  What could be improved: Rögtön a nappali-konyhába érkezünk, mi hárman voltunk, így ez rögtön hálószoba is. Az elektromos eszközök egy kikapcsolható hosszabbítóba vannak bedugva, eleinte nem értettük, hogy mit kellene bekapcsolni (a fali csatlakozón is volt kapcsoló).

  The appartement is super, clean, there is all what man needs including coffee capsules, fruits and buns. Very cosy.
  It is a bit far from the centre but with the bus about 15 min to the railway station.
  
  What could be improved: The biggest minus is that there is no Internet. If you want to see the maps, or your child wants to watch cartoons or the hostess wants to get your docs, all that you do with your private Internet volumes.
  It was cold in the appartement. There are tiles everywhere and your feet freeze immediately without shoes. There is a thermostat in there but I didn't dare to use it.
  The third bed is in the kitchen and it is very light from the street.
  Unfortunately very loud neighbours. And the neighbourhood. The church played music till 9 p.m., not the bells but a real carillon. The dog barked good two hours somewhere. We couldn't fall asleep for a long time.
