Appartamento Santa Teresa, fiera/centro Verona Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Appartamento Santa Teresa, fiera/centro Verona, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It sounds a bit formal, right? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s one of those spots that perfectly captures what you want when you’re visiting Verona – you get the apartment feel where you can actually spread out and live a little, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters.
The location is honestly brilliant if you know the city at all. You’re positioned between the fiera district and the centro storico, which means you can walk to the main sights without dealing with all the tourist crowds right outside your door. I mean, you’ll still hit the crowds once you get to Juliet’s balcony and the Arena, but there’s something nice about having a quieter base to return to. The apartment itself has that lived-in Italian charm – not overly renovated to the point where it loses character, but comfortable enough that you’ll actually want to hang out there in the evenings. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which I always appreciate because let’s face it, eating out every meal gets expensive and sometimes you just want to grab some local ingredients from the market and cook something simple.
What really sold me on this place was the practical stuff that other travelers don’t always mention. The Wi-Fi actually works well (I was working remotely for part of my stay), and the beds are genuinely comfortable – not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes encounter. You know what else? The neighborhood has this nice residential vibe in the mornings. You’ll hear locals heading off to work, maybe some church bells in the distance, but it’s not chaotic like staying right in the thick of things. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but it delivers exactly what it promises. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning a longer visit to Verona where I wanted to feel less like a tourist and more like I was actually living in the city for a while. Plus, having that apartment setup means you can invite people over for aperitivo before heading out, which honestly made my whole trip feel more authentic.

Ekenomaghele from United Kingdom – 3 January 2025 (8/10)

The cleanliness of the apartment was really on the level. You can see it was recently renovated and it is a nice, cozy place. The host was really nice and she also provided us with a lot of information about the city, even though they have already prepared a folder with all the useful information inside the apartment. The location is a 20-minute walk from the arena, but there are a lot of transportation methods to reach the city center.
Heat in any of the rooms won't be a problem, since both bedrooms and the living room have their own separate AC unit.
Also parking in front of the building is free!Hughes from United Kingdom – 8 August 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: The positioning from the city center.
When we enter for the first time there was a strange smell and we had to ventilate the rooms.Peter from Australia – 11 July 2023 (9/10)
Hostess went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay (specifically we messed up our booking dates and Pavani was very helpful fixing this for us)
