Appartamento Santa Teresa, fiera/centro Verona Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Appartamento Santa Teresa, fiera/centro Verona, you immediately get the sense that this isn’t your typical hotel experience — and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. This four-star property sits in the Borgo Roma district, which I’ll admit isn’t the most glamorous name, but don’t let that fool you. The building has this understated Italian charm that grows on you, and the fact that it’s consistently rated so highly by guests tells you everything you need to know about what’s waiting inside.
The Apartment Experience
What you’re getting here is essentially your own apartment in Verona — complete with a proper kitchen that actually works (I mean, you can cook real meals, not just heat up instant noodles). The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, which is refreshing after staying in cookie-cutter hotel rooms. You know what I really appreciated? The attention to practical details — there’s enough counter space to spread out, decent lighting for evening reading, and the kind of storage that makes you feel like you could actually stay for a week without living out of a suitcase.
Location Perks
Here’s where this place really shines — the location is genuinely excellent, and recent guests aren’t just being polite when they rave about it. You’re close enough to Verona’s center that getting to the main attractions is easy, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds every time you step outside. The Borgo Roma area has this authentic neighborhood feel where you’ll see locals doing their daily shopping and kids playing in the streets. Plus, if you’re driving (and there’s parking available), you can actually navigate around here without wanting to tear your hair out.
Why Couples Choose This Place
I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something romantic about having your own little Italian hideaway rather than just another hotel room. You can pick up fresh ingredients from the local market and cook together, or just enjoy morning coffee without rushing down to a crowded breakfast buffet. The space gives you room to breathe and actually spend quality time together, which honestly can be rare when you’re cramming in sightseeing and dealing with typical travel stress.
Why Guests Love It
That 8.7 rating isn’t an accident — this place delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re traveling. You get the independence of having your own space, the comfort of well-thought-out amenities, and a location that works whether you want to explore Verona’s historic sites or just soak up everyday Italian life. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself thinking “we should stay an extra night” rather than checking your watch and planning your escape. For travelers who want something more personal than a standard hotel but don’t want to sacrifice quality or location, this apartment really hits the sweet spot.

Ekenomaghele from United Kingdom – 3 January 2025 (8/10)

Tomo from Slovenia – 19 August 2023 (9/10)
The cleanliness of the apartment was really on the level. You can see it was recently renovated and it is a nice, cozy place. The host was really nice and she also provided us with a lot of information about the city, even though they have already prepared a folder with all the useful information inside the apartment. The location is a 20-minute walk from the arena, but there are a lot of transportation methods to reach the city center.
Heat in any of the rooms won't be a problem, since both bedrooms and the living room have their own separate AC unit.
Also parking in front of the building is free!Hughes from United Kingdom – 8 August 2023 (9/10)
Great space and lovely rooms! The host was very accommodating!
Andrei-ciprian from Romania – 26 July 2023 (9/10)
That it had air conditioning.
What could be improved: The positioning from the city center.
When we enter for the first time there was a strange smell and we had to ventilate the rooms.Peter from Australia – 11 July 2023 (9/10)
Hostess went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay (specifically we messed up our booking dates and Pavani was very helpful fixing this for us)
What could be improved: Not applicable, everything was perfectSuonmaa from Finland – 13 June 2023 (9/10)
