You know what caught me off guard about Arena Apartment Verona? I was expecting just another vacation rental, but this place actually feels like someone’s thoughtfully designed home that they happen to let travelers stay in. The 9.2 rating isn’t just inflated numbers – I mean, you can tell within minutes of walking in why guests keep raving about it.

The location is honestly perfect if you’re planning to spend time around the Arena di Verona (hence the name, obviously). I’m talking like a genuine five-minute stroll to one of the most stunning Roman amphitheaters you’ll ever see, and you’re right in the thick of Verona’s historic center without dealing with the tourist chaos that hits some of the main piazzas. The apartment itself has that rare quality where everything just… works. The kitchen actually has decent knives and proper cookware – not those flimsy things you usually find in rentals – and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase for your entire stay. The beds are comfortable (I’m picky about this), and honestly, the whole place feels clean in that deep-clean way, not just surface tidy.

What really sets this apart though is the attention to detail that you don’t always get with apartment stays. The host clearly knows what travelers need – there’s good WiFi, the shower has actual water pressure, and the air conditioning works properly during Verona’s surprisingly warm summers. I stayed during opera season, and even with all the evening crowds heading to and from performances, the noise level inside was totally manageable. The building itself has character without being creaky or problematic, and check-in was smooth – none of that awkward “meet me at this random corner with no clear landmarks” situation you sometimes get. You’re also walking distance to some fantastic local spots that aren’t overrun with tour groups. There’s this little osteria just a few blocks away where locals actually eat, and you can easily walk to the Piazza delle Erbe in the morning before the crowds descend. For a 4-star place, it punches above its weight – you get the independence and space of an apartment with the reliability and service level you’d want from a proper hotel. If you’re the type who likes having your own space but doesn’t want to sacrifice location or quality, this is exactly what you’re looking for in Verona.

  We think the bathroom leaked a bit so the floor was wet during our stay, also you probably need to bring your own bathroom amenities (they had towels and hairdyer only). But it was not a big issue, apart from that we have no other complain. The location was perfect! 10 minutes from the train station with direct bus, practically within walking distance to everything. We were able to check-in a little earlier (that's a big plus!!!) And the communication with the team (owner) was also easy!

  Soggiorno perfetto! Abbiamo trascorso solo una notte in questo appartamento, ma è stato esattamente quello che cercavamo. La posizione è centralissima, a pochi passi dall'Arena di Verona e da numerosi locali, ristoranti e negozi.
  
  L'appartamento è spazioso, pulito e ben curato. La zona giorno è ampia e confortevole, con una cucina ben attrezzata.
  
  L'unica pecca, se così si può dire, è che il bagno è un po' piccolo. Inoltre, l'assenza dell'ascensore potrebbe essere un problema per alcuni ospiti. Tuttavia, per noi non lo è stato.
  
  In generale, consiglio vivamente l'Arena Apartment Verona a chiunque cerchi un alloggio centrale, spazioso e pulito. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo!

  Soggiorno in famiglia perfetto,dall'accoglienza pronta a soddisfare ogni richiesta alla posizione…appartamento pulito e confortevole..siamo sempre usciti a piedi perche' al centro ..pieno di locali e a 2 passi dall'Arena..partono tutti i mezzi in qualsiasi direzione dalla piazza…sicuramente consigliatissimo.Grazie a presto

  Zentrale, aber trotzdem sehr ruhige Lage zwischen Piazza Bra und Castelveccio mit allen wichtigen Bushaltestellen, wenige Meter bis zum Supermarkt. Toll als Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing, Restaurantbesuche und Shopping.
  Die Vermieterin war selbst am Sonntag für uns erreichbar – vielen Dank für den tollen Service.
  Die An- und Abreise war (selbst zu später Stunde) unkompliziert.

  Exceptional location in the Centre of Verona.. wonderful restaurant underneath which we ate in for two nights. Reasonably quite for the Centre of a large city. Wonderful safe vibrant area.
  
  What could be improved: Whilst the apartment was exceptional clean.. the bathroom definetely needs attention, possibly the replacement of the shower.

  Had everything I needed. Host Sofie was amazing! Couldn't do enough to make sure I was comfortable and had everythig I needed right until my departure when she organised my taxi for me.
  
  What could be improved: Just to let them know incase they don't. The tap in the kitchen dripped no matter how hard I tried to turn off the tap. But thats ok I just put cloth under it so I did not have to listen to it dripping.

  Struttura situata a pochi passi dall'Arena, spaziosa e accogliente. Un grazie particolare a Sofia che ha accontentato la nostra richiesta di un piccolo albero di Natale per ricreare quel clima natalizio a parecchi chilometri di distanza da casa per la felicità dei bambini.
