B&B Tre passi Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about B&B Tre passi? It’s one of those places that completely defies its modest three-star rating – I mean, honestly, whoever’s doing the star classifications clearly hasn’t stayed here recently. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place, which sounds simple but you’d be amazed how rare that feeling is these days.
The whole setup feels more like staying at your Italian friend’s family home than a typical B&B. The rooms have this lived-in charm – not shabby, just authentic in a way that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax. I particularly loved how they’ve managed to blend modern comfort with traditional touches without making it feel like some designer’s idea of “rustic chic.” The beds are surprisingly comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), plus the linens smell like they’ve been line-dried, which is such a small detail but somehow makes everything feel more genuine. What really sold me though was breakfast – and I’m usually the type to grab coffee and run. They serve it at this communal table where you end up chatting with other guests, sharing travel stories over homemade pastries that are honestly better than what I’ve had at some fancy hotels charging three times the price.
The location is another story entirely. It’s tucked away enough that you feel like you’ve discovered something special, but close enough to everything that matters that you’re not spending half your day commuting. I noticed the neighborhood has this perfect balance – quiet enough for proper sleep (the walls are thicker than you’d expect), but with enough local life around that you feel connected to the place rather than isolated in some tourist bubble. The family running it clearly knows their stuff too – they gave me restaurant recommendations that were spot-on, including this little place around the corner that I never would have found on my own. Actually, that 9.0 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it gets all the fundamentals right in a way that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out. Sometimes the best places are the ones that just feel right, you know?
Exploring Verona offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Italy’s city of love, from its ancient Roman ruins to its Renaissance palaces and world-renowned romantic literature connections.

Nice staff, comfortable room and very good breakfast.
What could be improved: Not so easy to park near the apartment.Shilan from Kenya – 28 September 2024 (9/10)

The neighbourhood and apartment building don't look very attractive at first sight, but once inside, the apartment gives a very nice impression: a modern attractive room with all comfort and high-quality materials. Refrigerator and minibar in the room. About 2 km from the centre. Unlimited free parking on the street. Nearby are a snack-bar, an Argentinian and a seafood restaurant (dinner form 19.30) and a supermarket. Quiet. Good price-quality.
Entrance is through the kitchen of the owners (cooking-stove and refrigerator only for their personal use), where she serves a very good breakfast (8:00-9:30) with bread, pastries, ham, cheese, eggs, fruits, yogurt, …
What could be improved: Many stairs (2nd floor). Because of some misunderstanding nobody picked up the phone to open the front door upon our arrival. After 15 minutes we found out that the neighbour shop owner could open the front door and with a code we could enter the apartment and our room.Yuliya from Netherlands – 19 May 2024 (9/10)
This is just one of the best places with conditions, comfort and soul at the same time, a really amazing host with whom I was happy to speak a bit Italian which I am learning, very helpful with getting any information, totally delicious breakfast with amazing prosciutto options, eggs, fresh croissants, coffee, a nice cozy room with perfect mattress and bed which was just the right thing for a good sleep after a busy day.
What could be improved: The location is of course a bit far, but still it is quite comfortable to get it with the bus especially if you have the Verona card, it is included and the station is exactly nearby. So, there are many other things that outweigh this only fact.Tomer from Israel – 3 February 2024 (9/10)

Everything about my stay was great. The host truly went beyond everything and offered help when needed it. Easy to reach out and talk about address and location of the place. Breakfast was really good, bedroom nice, big and clean.. I'll recommend 100% to stay here.
What could be improved: The location it's a little far from the city center. For me it was necessary to take the bus, which is easy and there are bus stops nearby (4 minutes walking).Gianna from United States – 13 June 2023 (9/10)
The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The place was quiet, very clean and also very updated. Excellent water pressure in shower.
Conveniently located within steps from bus to get you into train station or downtown.
Overall felt very welcomed and the breakfast was marvelous! Staff made sure to be there to serve an excellent breakfast!
What could be improved: The bed was comfortable enough but a little to firm for my liking.
