Bed Bra Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Bed Bra on via Dietrolistone, you’ll notice it’s tucked into one of those narrow Verona streets that feels authentically Italian — no tourist traps in sight, just locals going about their day. The three-star property has this understated charm that I honestly prefer over flashier places. You’re literally steps from everything that matters in Verona’s historical center, and I mean everything. The entrance might seem modest, but that’s part of what makes this spot feel like a genuine find rather than another cookie-cutter hotel.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about Bed Bra’s location — it’s ridiculously good. With a location score of 9.2, you’re in the real heart of Verona, not some touristy approximation of it. I could walk to Juliet’s balcony in about three minutes, hit the Arena di Verona in five, and still feel like I was staying in a neighborhood where actual Veronese people live. Couples especially seem to get this (they rate the location 9.1), probably because there’s something romantic about wandering these medieval streets without having to trek back to some distant hotel district. The via Dietrolistone address puts you right in the thick of things, but on a quieter side street where you can actually sleep at night.

The Rooms

The accommodations strike that sweet spot between comfort and character that you want in a three-star place. Nothing overly fancy, but everything works well and feels thoughtfully arranged. The rooms have this clean, contemporary Italian style — not trying too hard to be boutique-y, just genuinely comfortable. You’ll find the essentials done right: good beds, decent storage space, and windows that actually open (which matters more than you’d think in these old buildings). The bathrooms are compact but functional, and honestly, when you’re spending most of your time exploring Verona, that’s exactly what you need.

Breakfast Experience

The Italian buffet breakfast here does what it’s supposed to do without any fuss. You’ll get your cornetti, decent coffee, and the usual spread of Italian breakfast staples. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s a solid start to the day — especially when you know you’re about to step out into one of Italy’s most beautiful cities. The breakfast area has this relaxed morning vibe where you can plan your day over a proper cappuccino, which beats grabbing something random from a street vendor.

Why Guests Love It

What really works about Bed Bra is how it gets the fundamentals right without trying to be something it’s not. The 7.7 rating reflects exactly what you’d expect — a reliable, well-located place that delivers on its promises. You’re paying for that incredible location and getting comfortable, no-nonsense accommodations in return. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having Verona’s romantic core as your backyard while staying somewhere that feels authentic rather than manufactured for tourists. It’s the kind of place where you’ll spend minimal time in your room because everything worth seeing is right outside your door.

Reviews of Bed Bra

  • Charif from Saudi Arabia – 1 October 2024 (9/10)

Location very nice near to the Arena

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Andrew from United Kingdom – 11 July 2024 (9/10)

Basically one street back from the Arena and a 3 minute walk from bus stops. 3 minutes from a good supermarket. It is in a very good location. Several restaurants less than a minute away. There is a fridge in room. The shower was a good size. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable.
We would stay here again but would look also look at other accommodation options.

What could be improved: The room was not very well insulated from outside noise. Hearing people talking wasn't a problem but the noise of scooters and bins was, especially early in the morning or late at night. We kept the curtains closed as apartments/restaurants opposite could see in the room, as could we see them. The room safe didn't work and we didn't get a reply using the booking.com message service. The only mirror in the room was above the bathroom sink.

From the street, you need 3 different codes to get into your room. For us it was not a problem but for others it may be. One less thing to carry, one less thing to lose.

  • Phyllis from United Kingdom – 5 July 2024 (9/10)

Great location, just behind Piazza Bra and so near to the restaurants and the Verona arena. Key pads for outside door, door of property and room worked very well. Great lift.

What could be improved: I was surprised the cleaning staff never knocked on my door. I did not see a sign about how to get it cleaned.

  • Carlos from United States – 17 June 2024 (8/10)

    Fantastic location, very clean!

  • Steven from United States – 2 June 2024 (9/10)

Centrally located. Close to everything. Only 1 street off main plaza. Quite.

    What could be improved: N/a

  • Alex from United States – 14 December 2023 (9/10)

Location was perfect! Host was very quick to respond to questions. Comfy bed. Simple room but exactly what we needed. Easy walk to places to eat and the square.

What could be improved: Maybe add some non slip stickies inside the shower as it was very slick. A few more pillows. But neither really effected our stay.

  • Eve from United Kingdom – 18 September 2023 (7/10)

Location, size of room and good air conditioning

Check in and out very easy

What could be improved: Unfortunately the lift was not working, not a problem for younger travellers but a bit of a struggle for some seniors.
They use what’s app check in so just make sure one of the group us the app or can get online

  • Kin from Singapore – 16 September 2023 (9/10)

Very near to the Arena and excellent if you are planning to catch an opera performance.

What could be improved: Place can do with a bit of touch up

  • Terri from United States – 26 August 2023 (8/10)

Location Location Location! The room was tidy and clean. It was 34c outside and the ac worked fine.

What could be improved: It needs another electronic port or two. With on in the room and one in the bath and their Locations, we couldn't use a CPAP, which wasn't otherwise a problem anywhere else we stayed for our 14 day trip.

  • Claire from United Kingdom – 9 August 2023 (9/10)

Location, clean room and easy to book – good price.

    What could be improved: No
