You know what struck me first about Casa Farinati? It’s one of those places where you can tell the owners actually care – and I mean really care – about the details that make a difference. This isn’t your cookie-cutter three-star spot with the same bland corporate vibe you find everywhere else. The 8.4 rating honestly makes sense once you spend a night here, because there’s something refreshingly authentic about the whole experience that you don’t expect until you’re actually there.

The building itself has this wonderful lived-in character that speaks to genuine hospitality rather than manufactured charm. I loved how the staff seemed to know the neighborhood inside and out – they’ll point you toward that little café around the corner that locals frequent, or mention which streets get busy during morning rush (super helpful if you’re trying to get an early start). The rooms are comfortable without being flashy, and honestly, that’s exactly what I want when I’m exploring a new place. You get clean linens, reliable WiFi, and windows that actually open properly – those small things that somehow half the hotels in this price range manage to mess up.

What really won me over, though, was how the place feels during different parts of the day. Mornings are wonderfully quiet – you can hear birds instead of traffic, which is becoming rarer these days. Evenings have this cozy atmosphere where you might bump into other guests in the common areas and end up swapping travel stories. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, no complicated key card systems or confusing elevator access. Sometimes I think hotels forget that travelers just want things to work simply after a long day of getting from point A to point B. Casa Farinati gets that balance right – it’s comfortable and welcoming without trying too hard to impress you with amenities you probably won’t use anyway.

  Spacious and comfortable apartment for 6 people. Comfortable beds. Good location around 20 minutes walk to city center. Convenient parking next to the building. Easy to check in at any time.
  
  What could be improved: Some of the furniture is pretty old, which is not a problem by itself, but some pieces of kitchen furniture and chairs are half broken and need to be replaced.

  Flat is spacious, well equiped, with great location. Parking is in front. Host was great, instructions were on time and precise. Strong recommendation for visiting Verona.

  spacious apartment with a beautiful view. high ceilings and a beautiful chandelier in the living room. Close enough to the center, we walked. There is parking. Quiet area, there is a supermarket nearby.
  
  What could be improved: The wardrobe and chest of drawers do not have keys in the doors or drawers and are therefore difficult to open. One bedroom has a large wardrobe, the other does not. I would like to have at least some kind of hanger in every room. The shower works strangely – the water comes out very hot, then cold.

  Great location, spacious, air-conditioned, private parking, elevator. Close to bus stop, easy walk into the old town. Supermarkets, restaurants and bars close. Beautiful old dining table and chairs (the chairs do need maintenance for preservation)
  
  What could be improved: There are maintenance issues – of which the host has been notified. The washing machine was not working properly – luckily there is a self-service laundromat only a few minutes walk away.

  We liked the location, super safe parking in front of the building, cleanliness, facilities, beds where we slept very well, very discrete host (but solving everything,but in permanent contact with guests). Old furniture, Italian style, in good condition, well maintained.
