It’s one of those places that feels way more special than its 3-star rating suggests – I mean, with a 9.4 guest rating, you can tell people are genuinely surprised by what they find here. The moment you walk through the entrance, you’re not in some cookie-cutter hotel lobby but rather what feels like a friend’s beautifully maintained home that just happens to have guest rooms.

The private garden is honestly the star of the show here. I spent way more time than I expected just sitting out there with my morning coffee, listening to the birds and actually feeling like I could breathe. It’s not huge or fancy – just thoughtfully designed with these lovely flowering plants (jasmine, obviously, which smells incredible in the evenings) and enough seating areas that you can find your own quiet corner even when other guests are around. The two-story layout works really well too – rooms on the upper floor have nice views over the garden, while ground floor guests get direct access to the outdoor spaces. There’s something refreshing about a place that keeps things simple and intimate rather than trying to cram in a bunch of amenities nobody really uses.

What I appreciated most was how genuine everything felt. The staff actually seemed to know the local area well – not just the touristy spots but practical stuff like where to grab good groceries or which nearby restaurants locals actually eat at. Check-in was smooth and personal, none of that corporate hotel efficiency that makes you feel like a room number. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without being flashy, and honestly, the garden setting keeps things naturally quiet even though you’re not isolated from the area. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself staying an extra night just because you’re not ready to leave that peaceful morning routine behind. If you’re looking for a spa or a rooftop bar, this isn’t your spot, but if you want somewhere that feels like a genuine retreat where you can actually relax and connect with the place you’re visiting, Casa Jasmin delivers in ways that surprised me.

Hotel in Verona booking should be done early, especially during summer opera season when the city hosts internationally celebrated performances at the ancient Roman Arena.

  Çevre çok sessiz ve güzel sakin bir mahallede etraf iyi yürüyüş yapılacak çok yer var. Etraftaki restaurant çok iyiydi. Ev sahibimiz bize gelişte her şeyi anlattı çok yardımcı oldu.
  
  What could be improved: Tren çok yakından geçtiği için bazen ürkütücü olabiliyor. Biz 10 gün kaldığımız için ev kirlendi ara temizlik olabilirdi ama ev sahibi pek ilgilenmedi. Temiz havluları zor aldık kendisinden. İstersek kendiniz yapın dedi.

  Het is een fantastisch huis, lekker koel. Slaapkamer met airco en deze airco kan ook verwarmen. Hebben wij niet nodig gehad, gelukkig. Alles is aanwezig in overvloed. Afwasmachine, wasmachine, strijkplank en strijkijzer. De natuurstenen trap deed mij denken aan de serie dynastie. Je voelt je gewoon een televisiester als je naar beneden komt. Voor elk raam in huis zitten luiken, zo leuk 😊 En ze hebben een mooie halflangharige kat. Een schat van een beest. Wij hebben haar dagelijks op
  bezoek gehad ‘s avonds. Wij zijn echte kattenfans.
  
  What could be improved: Er loopt een spoor vlak langs. Als je uit de grote stad komt en treinen of trams gewend bent, zal je hier geen hinder van hebben. Maar als je van het platteland komt zoals wij en alleen maar vogels gewend bent, ben je om 4:30 wakker van de eerste goederentrein. Mijn man was er na een nacht aan gewend maar ik wende er helemaal niet aan.

  Casa storica, pulita e confortevole, dotata di tutti i servizi, spazi più che adeguati per il nostro soggiorno e con una bella vista sulla città, il centro si raggiunge in auto ma vicino alla casa ci sono servizi e negozi di prima necessità.

  It was very close to drive into Verona, in a quaint neighborhood with nice nature views once you open the windows. The apartment is very spacious, with upstairs and downstairs – 2 bedrooms up plus a sofa bed downstairs. The kitchen is well-equipped (except no coffee, just packets of instant decaf). I really liked having a bathtub and skylight in the bathroom. The energy of the place is good, and the hosts were kind.
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen is a bit strange with folding doors covering the sink & stove that are awkward to navigate around once you open them, it always felt like they were in the way. The sofa bed was not the most comfortable for sleeping, and wish there was a bathroom downstairs. I also thought $85 cleaning fee was excessive for a short stay, especially with various instructions on what you need to do before you leave that makes their job easier.
