You know what caught me off guard about Casa Vittoria? It’s one of those places that feels way more intimate than you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. I mean, the moment you walk through the entrance, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here – not in that sterile, corporate way, but more like staying at a really well-appointed friend’s house who happens to have impeccable taste.

The rooms honestly surprised me. I’ve stayed in plenty of boutique places that look gorgeous in photos but then you get there and realize the lighting is terrible or the shower has no pressure. Not here. Everything just… works. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m talking about that sweet spot where it’s firm enough but still feels like a cloud), and whoever designed the bathrooms actually thought about where you’d want to put your toiletries. Small thing, but you notice it when you’re rushing to get ready in the morning. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, it’s just consistently good at everything it does.

What really won me over though was the staff. They’ve got that rare balance of being genuinely helpful without hovering. Like, they remember your name after day one, and when you ask about dinner recommendations, they actually think about what you might enjoy rather than just rattling off the same three tourist spots. I ended up discovering this incredible little trattoria because the front desk manager mentioned it was where his family goes for Sunday lunch – that’s the kind of insider knowledge you can’t get from a travel blog. The check-in process was smooth too, none of that awkward standing around while they hunt for your reservation. And parking? Actually manageable, which if you’ve ever driven in Italy, you know is basically a minor miracle. Honestly, Casa Vittoria is the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay by a day or two, just because leaving feels a bit premature. It’s got character without being quirky for the sake of it, and comfort without feeling generic.

  Good location with convenient parking around the corner. Super clean. Newly rehabbed with.
  
  What could be improved: It smelled of perfumed dryer sheets and detergents or something. We had to air it out for a couple hours. Decorating is bad.

  The room was lovely – very little noise and light even though it’s on a major street! Staff were friendly and gave an excellent outline of the area. A very nice place for an overnight stay!
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately we found the bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable. However, aside from this personal preference, the stay was lovely!

  Everything!!! Rooms, facilities, check-in, location – everything is exceptional. The tea and coffee bar and seating space in a “lounge” area felt very luxurious. Our host who checked us in was super friendly, helpful and gave us the most wonderful itinerary to do in our 1 day we were there. Our train left at 2:30pm, but we could leave our luggage inside the apartment while we sightseed all morning. Loved this place so much.

  Best location. It’s walkable from the train station or you can take a short bus ride. It’s walkable to the attractions. Best experience was walking to the attractions at night.

  Perfect location for going the opera and decent value for money.
  
  What could be improved: There is a bar below the rooms that plays music till late. Didn’t affect us too much as we didn’t get in from opera until midnight and were exhausted but you can still hear it in the room.

  Great location, 15 min walk from train station. Five minutes from the arena, we arrived at the opera, ending late in the evening. Clean and comfortable room, a friendly man met us, told in detail what to visit. recommend absolutely
