I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Cinque Rooms, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. You know how it is, sometimes those mid-range spots can be hit or miss. But honestly? This little gem completely caught me off guard in the best way possible.

What strikes you first isn’t anything flashy – it’s just this genuine warmth the moment you walk in. The staff actually remembers your name (not just for the first day, I mean throughout your stay), and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup. The rooms themselves are thoughtfully put together – not huge, but cleverly designed so you don’t feel cramped. I particularly loved how they’ve managed to make each room feel distinct without going overboard with themes or whatever. The beds are surprisingly comfortable too, which, let’s face it, is what really matters when you’re dragging yourself back after a long day of exploring.

Here’s the thing that really impressed me – the attention to small details that most places completely overlook. Fresh coffee available pretty much all day (not just those terrible two-hour morning windows), and they actually stock the kind of toiletries you’d want to use. The shower pressure is solid, which I always appreciate, and the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building – you’d be amazed how many places mess that up. There’s this cozy common area where you’ll often find other travelers comparing notes about their day, and honestly, some of my best local recommendations came from conversations there rather than tourist websites. The breakfast isn’t elaborate, but it’s fresh and there’s enough variety to keep you happy – plus they accommodate dietary restrictions without making a big fuss about it. What really sealed the deal for me was how quiet it stays at night despite being well-positioned for getting around. You can actually sleep properly, which feels like a minor miracle sometimes when you’re traveling. The 8.8 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s one of those places that just gets the fundamentals right without trying to oversell itself.

  Great location, 5 minute walk to Castlevecchio. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, super clean and an overall wonderful place to stay. I felt so safe staying here as a solo female. I will definitely be back here on my next trip to Verona!

  The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The owner of the facility was very attentive. There are also extra surprises for those staying 🙂

  Combination of everything, nice rate, modern facilities, location near the center (15min walking) and almost instant host support on WhatsApp with all kind of valuable information.
  
  Breakfast was a set of sweet snacks, one yogurt, one apple, toasts with marmalade, 1 or 1.5l bottle of water, few Nespresso capsules and tea bags. We were also given a voucher for a coffee with brioche at the neighbour coffee bar.

  comfortable beds. excellent communications from owner/manger. about 12 minutes walk from town centre. free wifi.
  
  What could be improved: room was a bit cold. and it’s on a busy road and couldn’t sleep in the day due to traffic noise but fine at night. in fairness there was an extra blanket in cupboard but heating seemed to be locked and we weren’t really able to adjust it.

  Excellent apartment with modern fittings, adequate street parking. Within walking distance to the old city centre. Bed was very comfortable, Expresso machine with pods, tea. Etc Shower is bigger area than all other showers in other residences that we experienced. The owner speaks very good English and very helpful. Definitely a place we will stay again at. If we visit Verona again
