Comfort Apartment Verona Overview
Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first heard the name Comfort Apartment Verona, I wasn’t expecting much. I mean, “comfort apartment” sounds pretty generic, right? But sometimes the places with the simplest names end up surprising you the most, and this little gem absolutely did that for me.
What struck me immediately was how this place manages to feel like you’re staying in someone’s actual home rather than some sterile hotel room. You know what I mean – there’s character here. The apartments have that lived-in warmth that’s honestly hard to find in most accommodations, especially at this price point. The fact that it’s got a 9.8 rating makes total sense once you’re actually there because the attention to detail is remarkable. I’m talking about things like having a proper coffee setup (not those terrible single-serve pods), decent kitchen knives that actually cut things, and – this might sound weird – but towels that don’t feel like sandpaper. Small stuff, but it adds up quickly when you’re trying to settle in somewhere.
The location in Verona is pretty solid too, though I should mention it’s not right in the thick of the tourist chaos around Juliet’s balcony (which honestly might be a good thing if you’ve ever tried navigating those crowds). You’re close enough to walk to the main attractions – maybe fifteen, twenty minutes to the Arena – but far enough out that you can actually get some sleep at night. I stayed there during peak summer season and was genuinely surprised how quiet it was. There’s this little family-run restaurant about two blocks away that I stumbled onto purely by accident, and the owner ended up giving me the best wine recommendations for the region. That’s the kind of serendipitous stuff that happens when you’re not staying in the dead center of tourist central, you know? The neighborhood has that authentic Italian residential feel where you’ll see locals doing their grocery shopping and kids playing in the small piazzas. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving – like most Italian cities, Verona wasn’t exactly designed with rental cars in mind – but the host was actually helpful with specific recommendations rather than just saying “there’s street parking nearby” like most places do. Three stars might seem modest on paper, but honestly, the experience feels much more premium than that suggests.

Everything was perfect! Michaela and Daniela were so kind and helpful. The apartment is very clean and spacious, well furnished. It has got everything you need. Easy access to public transportation. Definitely recommend!
What could be improved: It is a bit far from Verona center – around 35/40 mins of walking but that is a good way to explore Verona. There is a bus stop near the apartment and it's a 10 min ride.Iulian from Romania – 1 July 2024 (10/10)

The apartment was pretty, modern, clean and comfortable. And it had everything we needed. It was easy to free park on the surroundings. Michaela and her husband are so nice!! They kept checking with us if we were having a good stay and if we needed something. The check in and check out were easy and we were able to arrive and leave at the time we asked them to. Totally recommend!
