Juliet’s balcony is maybe a ten-minute walk, but so is the morning market where Veronese actually shop for groceries. You know what I love? You can walk to the Arena di Verona in about fifteen minutes, but you’re far enough away that you won’t hear the crowds or deal with the chaos after evening performances.

Even the rooms without direct river views benefit from being in this area — the whole district has this calm, residential feel that’s rare to find so close to major attractions.

  Perfect location to see Verona’s old city by foot. The window view on the river. Very comfortable bed, bathroom outside the room, but it was not an issue, because it was still private, locked. 24-hour access to supplied kitchen.
