You know what really surprised me about Delizioso appartamento? The name honestly undersells it – I mean, yes, it’s delicious in that cozy Italian way, but this place has so much more personality than you’d expect from a 3-star spot. When I first walked in, I was hit by this wonderful mix of old-world charm and actually functional modern touches (you know how some places try too hard with the rustic thing and forget about decent WiFi).

The apartment setup is brilliant if you’re the type who gets tired of hotel restaurants after day two. I spent most mornings making proper coffee in the little kitchen – not the instant stuff you usually get – and honestly, there’s something magical about starting your day without having to get dressed and head downstairs for breakfast. The space feels lived-in but not worn out, if that makes sense. Little details caught my eye everywhere: hand-painted tiles in the bathroom, shutters that actually keep the morning light out when you want to sleep in, and this tiny balcony where I’d sit with my coffee and watch the neighborhood wake up. The locals seem to start their day around 7 AM with a lot of animated conversations – I loved eavesdropping even though my Italian is basically limited to food words.

What really sets this place apart is how it makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s actual home rather than a generic rental. The owner clearly put thought into the small stuff – good hangers in the closet, more than two towels, a shower with proper water pressure. I’ve stayed in plenty of apartments where you can tell they bought everything at once from some hospitality catalog, but this feels curated. The 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. Sure, it’s not fancy in a marble-lobby kind of way, but it’s the sort of place where you actually want to spend time rather than just crash between sightseeing. The neighborhood has this authentic feel – you’ll hear church bells in the morning, smell fresh bread from somewhere nearby, and notice how the light changes throughout the day. I ended up extending my stay by two nights because honestly, I wasn’t ready to leave yet.

  Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit einer großen Terrasse. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich und flexibel. Die kompletausgestattete Küche und die großen Schlafzimmer ließen keine Wünsche offen. Der Parkplatz war direkt vor den Haus. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel (Bus) waren 100m entfernt.

  War alles bestens und das Apartment wunderschön und gut eingerichtet. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten wie quatschendes Bett, aber ansonsten alles bestens. Super netter Host und sehr gutes Preis-leistungsverhältnis.
  
  What could be improved: Bisschen abgelegen vom Zentrum, mehr als gedacht, daher leider ein Abzug. Zu Fuss hat man locker 30min, nicht 15-20min.

  It was an excellent location and a very warm and clean apartment. All facilities are available in the flat, especially the kitchen fully equipped even with the dishwasher. You can drink your rest coffee at the balcony with good garden and city views. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I definitely will stay here again!
