The rooms have this clean, modern aesthetic with these little touches that make you think “oh, that’s clever” – like the way they’ve integrated the lighting, or how the bathroom feels way more spacious than it actually is. The bed situation is solid too, and I say this as someone who’s pretty picky about mattresses after too many nights on questionable hotel beds.

What really sold me though was how the staff actually seemed to care about the details. Check-in was smooth – no standing around waiting while they figure out their computer system – and they had these little local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps everyone suggests. The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s one of those places that gets the fundamentals right without any dramatic flourishes. The common areas have this lived-in comfort that makes you want to hang out with a coffee or wine instead of just rushing through. And honestly, the whole place just feels genuine, which is harder to find than you’d think. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in the city, but it nails that sweet spot of being comfortable, well-designed, and actually pleasant to spend time in. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a really good temporary home than a sterile hotel experience, this is definitely worth considering.

  The apartment was great and most importantly location was excellent. The owner always got back to me and was a tremendous help to us on the last day even coming down to meet us as we had difficulty getting a wheelchair taxi.

  The apartment is lovely, quiet and has a great location near to the river and the city centre. The access was easy. The place is very clean, the double bed, the sofa and the pillows are very comfortable, the linens were perfectly ironed. The bathroom is big and even has a window. The host was so kind and quickly responded all our questions and requests. We are thankful for his great hospitality!
  I strongly recommend this place and would love to stay there again on my next visit to Verona!

  Everything was fine. Perfect location, all visiting places in a walking distance. Please note, the apartment has a pass that allows for free to park your car in front of the apartment. Do not rush to pay for parking, the pass is left in the flat. 😉
