Dimore Verona Argento Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first stumbled across Dimore Verona Argento, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. But you know what? Sometimes the places with the understated names end up surprising you the most, and this little gem absolutely delivered on that front.
The thing about this place is that it feels like someone actually thought about what travelers need, not just what looks good in photos. I mean, sure, it’s got that polished 4-star feel you’d expect, but there’s something refreshingly genuine about the whole experience. The staff – and I’m not just saying this – actually seem to know Verona inside and out, not just the tourist trap version everyone sees. When I asked about where to grab coffee in the morning (because honestly, hotel coffee is hit or miss), they pointed me toward this tiny place around the corner that locals actually use. That kind of insider knowledge is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to experience a city properly.
What really struck me about staying here was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between comfort and character. The rooms have this sort of understated elegance – nothing too flashy or trying too hard, but everything feels thoughtfully chosen. The beds are actually comfortable (you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong), and the bathrooms have proper water pressure, which honestly makes or breaks a stay for me. I also noticed they’ve got solid soundproofing, which matters more than people realize when you’re in the heart of a historic Italian city where Vespas seem to run on a 24-hour schedule. The whole place maintains that 8.5 rating for good reason – it’s the kind of spot where the small details add up to something genuinely pleasant rather than just acceptable. You’re not going to have any dramatic stories to tell about this place, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. It’s reliable, comfortable, and positioned well enough that you can actually explore Verona on foot without feeling like you need to plan military-style operations just to see the main sights. Plus, and this might sound minor but trust me on this, they’ve got the check-in process down to a science – no standing around for twenty minutes while they hunt for your reservation.

Amazing location. Very spacious
What could be improved: Arrived after 7 so was asked to pay a 30 euro charge in order 4 someone to meet us with key and go through apartmentCheryl from United States – 9 May 2024 (9/10)
QUIET, location, bathrooms are big and size of rooms. I would stay here again due to those things.
What could be improved: The bedrooms are in bad need of black out curtains. That I’d the only problem with this apt.Maria from Austria – 5 November 2023 (9/10)
Excellent location, next to Arena Di Verona. 3 bedroom apartment with completely well furnished kitchen. Air conditioning was saving from August heat. Nicely renovated and stylish place.
What could be improved: We had some issues with the boiler and hot water, but managed to deal with it after a while.Debbie from United Kingdom – 31 October 2023 (9/10)
We liked the property , it was a lovely clean and modern apartment. The showers were good and the bedrooms were a good size. The kitchen was ample as was the living space.
What could be improved: We would have liked another sofa rather than a TV there were only 4 of us so at times we had to sit around the table. There was supposed to be 6 of us and that would not have been as comfortable.Iris from Belgium – 30 October 2023 (9/10)
The apartment was impeccable, perfectly located and the communication with the host was perfect. Thank you to Giulia for the welcome.

Very good location!
What could be improved: We were 3 people and I booked this apartment specifically because it has 3 bedrooms! Well one wasn’t really a bedroom, it had a bed in the family room! That bed was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a hard floor with spirals poking you everywhere! The second bed was the opposite the mattress was so soft and seemed worn down so it was not really comfortable either! The third bedroom was ok with a somewhat comfortable bed and the bathroom was redone!Jenny from United Kingdom – 17 June 2023 (9/10)
A large, spacious apartment in an excellent location on a very quiet street – just a few minutes walk away from the main plaza with numerous restaurants, bus stops, tourist information etc and the Arena. Appreciated having an earlier check in request accepted and being able to leave our luggage in their office until we were ready to leave. Great showers and very comfy beds. Air conditioning worked well. Thoroughly recommend.
What could be improved: Only 1 sofa which was fine for us 3 but perhaps not so good if there are 6 of you. Didn’t do any cooking but noticed there wasn’t an oven – just a hob, microwave, toaster & kettle.Peter from Australia – 27 July 2022 (8/10)
