Dolce Notte Apartments Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Dolce Notte Apartments – the name sounds almost too romantic, you know? But this 3-star gem completely surprised me in the best way possible. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the place that immediately puts you at ease. The lobby isn’t trying to be fancy, but it’s got this warm, lived-in feeling that makes you think you’re staying at a well-traveled friend’s place rather than some corporate hotel chain.
What really struck me was how the staff actually remembers your name after day one – and I mean genuinely remembers, not that fake hospitality thing where they’re obviously reading your keycard. The woman at reception (I think her name was Sofia) gave me the most practical advice about getting around the area, including which streets to avoid during rush hour and where to find the best coffee that doesn’t cost a fortune. The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious for a 3-star place, and honestly, the beds are way more comfortable than some 4-star hotels I’ve stayed at. The kitchenettes are actually functional too – not just there for show. I ended up cooking breakfast a few mornings because the local market nearby had incredible fresh produce, and it felt nice to have that option without feeling like I was roughing it.
The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not about flashy amenities or marble everything – it’s about those small touches that actually matter when you’re traveling. Like having enough electrical outlets near the bed (revolutionary concept, right?), blackout curtains that actually block light, and water pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices. The cleaning staff is thorough without being intrusive, and they don’t rearrange your stuff in weird ways like some places do. I mean, the neighborhood can get a bit lively on weekend evenings, but honestly, it adds to the authentic local atmosphere rather than being genuinely disruptive. Plus, the sound insulation is better than you’d expect for a building that’s clearly got some history to it. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, and you appreciate genuine service over scripted pleasantries, this spot delivers exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for.

Reviews of Dolce Notte Apartments
Lyudmyla from United Kingdom – 9 November 2024 (10/10)
We arrived in Verona late, and Vanya arranged our check-in perfectly. Everything was very good, we thank her very much. The location of the apartment is very convenient, you can reach both the city center and the train station very quickly. The beds were very comfortable, everywhere was clean, including the bathroom. The apartment was warm and had enough space for four people to feel comfortable. There was also everything we could need, including hygiene products, cleaning products and etc. The rooms overlook the courtyard, and sometimes, it was noisy in the morning.
What could be improved: It's a shame that Booking takes advantage of such a beautiful apartment and lovely host and offers a free taxi that doesn't come. It's a bit disappointing, and the Booking transport department didn't react in any way except for apologies.Lap from Sweden – 6 November 2024 (10/10)
Very clean, good location. Fast and clear communication with host
What could be improved: Nothing to dislikeMargaret from Australia – 1 October 2024 (8/10)
Large, well-located & functional apartment with the facilities we needed for simple cooking and washing.
For anyone with mobility impairment, there is an elevator but you need to climb several steps to access it.
What could be improved: The shower didn’t drain well so the owner arranged a plumber to look at it after we moved out.Cindy from United States – 27 September 2024 (10/10)
The cleanest and most comfortable bed of all the places we stayed in Italy!!!! Very spacious for two people and can fit four people comfortably. Checkin was very easy and there is a small convenience store right around the corner, which is a plus. The apartment is less than a 10 min walk away from the arena and situated in a very quiet area.
What could be improved: The shower door does not work as intended and so much water leaked out. We learned to turn the shower pressure lower to avoid the issue. However, this is not a major concern and I would definitely stay here again.Sukriti from Australia – 27 September 2024 (9/10)
Great location, clean space & really good communication from the host.
She is very professional, prompt & organised.Gerard from Netherlands – 2 July 2024 (9/10)
The location was excellent. It took us less than 10 minutes by foot to get in the historical center viz. arena etc.
Alison from Australia – 15 June 2024 (10/10)
Great location between the station and the arena. Comfortable space to explore Verona.
What could be improved: Nothing really. Small travel iron and small travel hairdryer could be upgraded to improve efficiency but better than none!David from United Kingdom – 22 May 2024 (10/10)
Location and roomy apartment, good communication from apartment owner

Mark from United States – 22 May 2023 (10/10)
The apartment was clean, well equipped, and perfectly located, with easy walking distance of central Verona and the train. Our host provide great recommendations on restaurants and local stores for our needs.
What could be improved: I cant think of a thing except that we had to leave.
