You know what really caught me off guard about El Postesin? The moment I walked in, I actually thought I’d stumbled into someone’s well-loved family guesthouse rather than a proper hotel. I mean that in the best possible way – there’s this immediate warmth that hits you, like the staff genuinely care about whether you have a good stay or not. The 9.0 rating makes complete sense once you’re there for a day or two.

Honestly, I’ve stayed at plenty of three-star places that felt sterile and forgettable, but this one’s different. The rooms have that lived-in comfort without being worn down, if that makes sense. My bed was actually comfortable (you never know these days), and I loved how they’d thought about the little things – decent lighting for reading, enough outlets near the bed, proper water pressure in the shower. The decor isn’t trying to be trendy or anything, just clean and welcoming with some local touches that feel authentic rather than forced. What really impressed me was how quiet it stayed at night, even though you can tell it’s a busy place during the day.

The staff here – well, they’re the real deal. Not overly formal, not trying to upsell you every five minutes, just helpful people who know their stuff. I had this check-in experience where they actually remembered my name without looking at their computer screen the next morning, which honestly made my whole day. They’ve got solid recommendations too, not just the obvious tourist spots but places locals actually go. I ended up at this incredible little restaurant they suggested that I never would’ve found otherwise. The whole operation runs smoothly without feeling corporate, you know? It’s the kind of place where you can tell the owners have put real thought into what travelers actually need, not just what looks good in photos. Sure, it’s not luxury – you’re not getting marble bathrooms or a concierge in a fancy uniform – but sometimes that three-star sweet spot hits perfectly when the people running it actually care about hospitality.

  Everything at this property was amazing. Pier met me promptly and showed me round the apartment. He also gave great recommendations on where to visit and the places to avoid. The bed was so comfortable it made it difficult to get up in the morning! The kitchen was well equipped and there was a supermarket two minutes down the street which made cooking easy.
  The street was quiet and close enough to walk into the centre. In fact everything in Verona was within walking distance.
  I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  The host was very accommodating and helpful. He met us at the property to explain how things worked and also to provide additional information about local attractions, restaurants etc. We really appreciate this. The property was ideally located in a quieter part of the city but easily within working distance of the old town.

  Pier was at the property to hand over the keys at a time agreed upon. He gave us a map of the city with his recommendations of restaurants (and ice cream bar!). We only went to the places Pier recommended and they were all fantastic. He also told us the places to avoid (touristy prices for low quality).
  Pier also contacted us after one day to ask if everything was alright.
  It made our short stay in Verona very pleasant.
  
  The apartment is walking distance from the old town and the arena, yet a little outside the crowd and noise.

  The place has everything one might need for a stay: kitchen is packed, comfortable bed, AC, nice shower. location is great – there is supermarket nearby and it’s only 10-15 min walk to the city center.
  Host was very nice and helpful with local tips and suggestions.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing I did not like that even with the windows closed one can still hear cars passing by outside. This is a minor thing though comparing to how amazing this apartment is in every other aspect
