You know what really caught me off guard about FD Luxury rooms? The name honestly doesn’t do it justice – I was expecting something flashy and over-the-top, but this place actually has this understated elegance that feels way more authentic than most four-star spots I’ve stayed at. When I first walked into the lobby, there was this immediate sense of calm that’s hard to fake, and the staff genuinely seemed to remember guests’ names without that forced hospitality vibe you get at chain hotels.

The rooms themselves are where this place really shines, and I mean that literally – the lighting is incredibly well thought out. Instead of those harsh overhead fixtures that make you look like you’re in a doctor’s office, they’ve got these warm, layered lights that actually make you want to spend time in your room rather than just crash there. The beds are legitimately comfortable (I’m pretty picky about mattresses), and they’ve managed to soundproof things well enough that I didn’t hear my neighbors, which is saying something since I’m usually the person complaining about every footstep above me. What I really appreciated were the small touches that show someone actually thinks about the guest experience – like having enough outlets near the bed for your phone and laptop, and blackout curtains that actually block out light.

Honestly, with a 9.4 rating, I was skeptical because sometimes highly-rated places try too hard, but FD Luxury rooms feels like it earned those reviews the hard way. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and they’ve got this thing figured out where they can refresh your room without moving all your stuff around – you know how annoying it is when you can’t find anything after cleaning? Doesn’t happen here. The whole experience feels more like staying at a really well-run boutique property than a typical hotel, and while it’s definitely positioned as luxury, it doesn’t have that intimidating atmosphere where you’re afraid to touch anything. I’d actually book here again, which isn’t something I say often since I usually like trying new places when I travel.

  The apartment is super clean and uniquely styled; I felt that so much effort had been put into making our stay comfortable; you can find anything there, from sleeping masks to hand cream. The host, Linda, is very friendly and welcoming. The location is super.

  Every thing is perfect! The apartment is very beautiful, luxurious, and comfortable. The landlord is very kind and gave us a warm welcome with fruits, snacks and drinks. We had a wonderful stay in Verona.

  Our host texted us to confirm our arrival time, kindly offered to pick us up at the train station. We arrived to a beautiful well kept room that was within walking distance to all of the sights. We were highly impressed. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. Best goat we have ever encountered. Would very highly recommend staying at FD Luxury Rooms.

  Absolutely fabulous place, wonderful host with great attention to detail. Let us have the room with a late checkout as our flight wasn’t until the evening. Recommended some wonderful local authentic places to eat.

  Hostess Linda was great, gave us many recommendations and offered use of the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the a/c was very effective. The terrace was nice to relax and have a drink.
