Flats4rent Al Monte Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Flats4rent Al Monte? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy but somehow gets everything right. I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star setup, but honestly – sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re looking for a proper apartment-style stay without all the hotel fuss.
The thing is, these aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms. We’re talking actual flats here, which means you get real kitchen space (and I mean real – not just a mini fridge and a sad coffee maker), proper living areas where you can actually spread out, and that feeling like you’re staying somewhere locals might actually live. The whole vibe is refreshingly un-touristy, if that makes sense. I found myself grocery shopping and cooking breakfast like I was settling in for a longer stay, even though I was only there for a few days. The apartments have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to find in regular hotels – you know, the kind of place where the couch is actually comfortable enough to fall asleep on while watching Netflix.
What really sold me on the place was how effortlessly everything worked. Check-in was straightforward (no standing around a lobby for twenty minutes), the Wi-Fi actually functioned properly throughout the space, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – the shower had proper water pressure. These details matter when you’re trying to feel human after a long travel day. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there because it’s not trying to wow you with marble lobbies or fancy amenities you’ll never use. Instead, it nails the basics: clean, functional, comfortable spaces that feel more like temporary homes than hotel rooms. I actually found myself lingering over morning coffee longer than usual because the kitchen setup made it feel natural to slow down a bit. The neighborhood has this authentic residential feel too – you’ll hear normal life happening around you rather than the constant hum of tourist activity. It’s the kind of place I’d recommend to friends who want to experience a city more like a temporary resident than a visitor passing through.
Early hotels booking in Verona requires advance planning during peak tourist seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary balconies, medieval squares, and Italian cultural attractions.

Amazing location, lovely hosts, great apartment with plenty of space and amenities. Washing machine was so handy too. We loved our stay!
What could be improved: Couldn’t really fault it, apartment was a little dark but we weren’t home much so it didn’t really matter. Lovely to wake up with space and quiet 🙂Ευα from Greece – 13 July 2024 (5/10)
The location of this house was very good. In the heart of the center and near to everything. The stuff in the kitchen was also lovely because we have everything that we need in order to cook and for breakfast.
What could be improved: I think that because the old furniture the house had a bad smell everywhere. In addition except of the smell the furniture wasn’t very clean, especially the bed, the couch and the armchairs was full of dust and mites. The house is not value for money. And the building is very old. Too expensive for the experience of inch because we are allergic to mites. The point is not only to make money from the people that you guest but to invest also money in biological cleaning in order to offer amenities and benefits proportional to the price.Michael from United Kingdom – 5 July 2024 (8/10)
Spacious apartment with everything you need to make your stay comfortable in a great location. Washing machine was a great plus for us after travelling for 2 weeks.
What could be improved: Picking up the keys 20 mins walk from the property is not convenient. The entrance is not easy to find. There was a strange odour in the flat, could do with some air fresheners.Gözde from Germany – 14 May 2024 (9/10)
Fantastische Lage!
What could be improved: Sie ist hellhörig. Die ein- und ausgehende Menschen im Haus und im Hof sind zu hören.Tania from Australia – 19 October 2023 (8/10)
Close to resteraunts and shopping
What could be improved: Bed was very hard😫Tiffany from Australia – 24 July 2023 (9/10)

Thank you so much for making our visit to Verona fabulous 😊Anoosh from United Arab Emirates – 15 July 2023 (8/10)
Amazing location.
What could be improved: Difficult check-in process.Anita from Australia – 30 June 2023 (7/10)
The apartment was in a good location.
What could be improved: You had to pick up your keys at least a 20 minutes walk away from apartment, with heavy suitcases I found it hard. No taxi in site at time, uber wasn't working for that area. But the actual apartment is perfect location. I also didn't enjoy looking for the trash bin outside to throw out my rubbish when leaving it's a little uncomfortable in a new city as a tourist doing so.
